Beautiful hotel with superb service and staff. Stunning swimming pool, large, and with beautiful mosaic floor. Great gym. Breakfast was great. The room was large, clean, and super comfortable bed. Good location. Highly recommend the massages in the spa!
My room didn't have a bathtub. The swimming pool is really at the center of the hotel, so it is less private. The western breakfast could be slightly better, like adding cheese.

It was clean, and located in a very convenient location.
Great and fast service from the staff. The bellboys, security, receptionist, concierge, and housekeeping were all very friendly and warm.
I would like to give thanks to Agim from housekeeping in particular. He was very attentive to our needs.
The bed and pillows were a bit uncomfortable, they were too soft.
The hotel, especially the bathroom, is a bit old.

We opted for a luxurious corner suite which had everything we needed for a short stay. Location is good being close to restaurants and shopping malls.
There was some traffic noise at night but not enough to disturb sleep.

Room was quite spacious and clean. I could attend sholat Jum'at at the mosque within the hotel and I like the location very much, walking distance to the famous shopping malls and there are many of traditional foods in front of the hotel, awesome.

I paid for a SUITE ROOM at JW Marriot Surabaya, and this is what we felt: Staff who were unfriendly and unhelpful, the room looked old and had a bit of a musty smell, the bathroom was not clean, and also the regrigerator was completely empty, not filled with anything not even just mineral water. I was very, very disappointed to stay at this hotel, the worst experience of what I experienced during my travels around the world. I asked one of the staff whether it was true that the refrigerator in the SUITE room we rented was emptied, the answer was YES THAT WAS POLICY. I just kept quiet and couldn't say anything.

The hotel offers a luxurious stay with top-notch amenities. A standout was Uli in the executive lounge, whose dedication set a relaxed and welcoming mood. Highly recommended!

It is a beautiful hotel. My room was very big with a great view of the city. Staff were extremely polite. I stayed here for a business trip so it was perfect for that.

its an old hotel , but being one of the most well known brand in the world, the service of course lives to its name, room is spacious , staffs are very friendly , breakfast is average.
To our horror on the 2nd day of our stay our room water was brown, we called to complain and they were fast to send a technician in but sadly after 15 mins it wasnt helping , their staff provided with another room next door just for a quick shower as my daughter just came from a swim and her skin are itchy, the new room wasnt much better as the water is still brown, they were quick to give us another room and made sure this time the water was clean, their staffs were very apologetic and handled it professionally , gave us a room upgrade , fruit basket and upon check a cookie to compensate and followed by countless apologies again, again their service is top-notch something you’d expect from a top name brand.
