Outstanding family home in a great location of west Ketchum. Beautiful yard and outdoor dining space. We stayed for over 2 weeks and the house had every supply/amenity that we required for an excellent vacation. We had a heat wave while at the house and it stayed quite cool and comfortable. Quick access into town either walking or on a bike. We hope to return!!

We had a great spring week here, with three generations gathered for a graduation. The house and apartment were perfect. Kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed the hot tub and made extensive use of the BBQ. The location was great - everything in Ketchum is easily walkable from here, and it’s easy to pick up the bike path. Amazing stay - highly recommend!

Our family loved staying in your house. We loved the feeling of being in a French countryside home the location was ideal. We had plenty of room and loved all of the amenities. Our host was very attentive, and appreciated all of his help with anything that came up.

Wonderful house plus garage apartment which was well suited for our family get together and offered a place for parents of 1 year old twins a quiet place for naps, etc. Owner was very responsive to communications and check in was easy with complete guest instructions. Very nicely furnished house and beautiful yard in a quiet neighborhood of Ketchum. It is a very short walk to public tennis/pickleball courts and downtown Ketchum is easily walkable.

I hesitate to express my full opinion about this property, because I don’t want to overdrive the demand for a place that I’d rather have all to myself. The grounds and the interiors of this property are ideal in every way for a summer getaway to Ketchum…our third consecutive summer and third property here over those years, and this one was the clear best of the lot. Highly recommend!

This was our second time renting this property in six months & has become our favorite rental in Ketchum. This time we brought our adult children & everyone enjoyed the property. Comfy beds, great dining table for family meals & game nights and the hot tub (looks brand new) was a huge hit after long days of skiing. The house stayed toasty warm despite subzero temps outside & piles of snow! This is the quietest neighborhood in West Ketchum but close enough to walk to town for coffee or groceries. Richard is a gracious host who goes above & beyond!

What a perfect vacation rental! Everything was exactly as pictured & Richard was a dream to work with. The amount of natural light in this French-inspired cottage can’t be overstated. Literally every room, even the bathrooms, is flooded with light & spectacular views. The fountain makes sitting on the back terrace a serene, blissful experience and the cozy furnishings with a nod to French decor brings a little bit of France to West Ketchum. This is our favorite place to stay in Ketchum. Hands down!

What a perfect vacation rental! Everything was exactly as pictured & Richard was a dream to work with. The amount of natural light in this French-inspired cottage can’t be overstated. Literally every room, even the bathrooms, is flooded with light & spectacular views. The fountain makes sitting on the back terrace a serene, blissful experience and the cozy furnishings with a nod to French decor brings a little bit of France to West Ketchum. This is our favorite place to stay in Ketchum. Hands down!

This home is in a great location (easy walking distance to town and easy short drive to skiing), it's extremely well maintained, and the owner is very responsive. The kitchen is well appointed and the bed rooms are all comfortable and clean. It's also very warm and cozy for a winter stay. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Excellent Experience
We were a family of three adults plus one dog and one cat. They probably suited our needs just fine. Plenty of room and in a great location accessible to Ketchum, Sun Valley and environs.
Richard is an excellent host. Great communication and willing to help with odd requests. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return.

French cottage
The property has a beautiful setting with a lovely comfortable interior. It was a bit smaller than anticipated. It sleeps 8 easily, but the other 3 beds are only good for very young children. There's a very nice walk right to the river which we really enjoyed.

Clean, comfortable and charming
This house is a perfect retreat in Ketchum and has everything you can possibly think of including a heated driveway so you dont have to shovel in the winter! The hot tub is a great place to end hour long skiing days and the beds are comfy. Richard is amazing to work with! I highly recommend.

We recently rented this charming home in Ketchum and were very pleased. It is clean, nicely furnished, pretty yard for relaxing, close walk to town, quiet, and the hot tub is clean and ready for use. There are two floors for separate areas that provide privacy and very large bathrooms upstairs and master bath downstairs. Richard is available for questions and courteous in replying to your needs. The home has everything you would need, including towels, sheets, dishes, glasses, and silverware, pots, pans, and a kitchen to easily cook whatever you wish. The lighting is nice too, windows provide a very pleasant view of back yard, with flowers and sitting area. I would recommend this charming home to use on your trip to Ketchum/Sun Valley!

A Home Away From Home
This is truly a remarkable home! Everything was so well appointed and we wanted for nothing. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. There were plenty of towels as well. The kids had so much fun exploring all the secret closets as if they were Harry Potter. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower. The gardens and fountain are so tranquil, we spent time listening to all the birds. One evening we even saw a deer walking by the adjacent driveway. Richard was an excellent host, always quick to respond. We are definitely planning on staying again in the future.

Beautiful homey oasis in paradise
I'm not sure what we fell in love with first, the absolute tranquility of the location not far from the river, or its inherent convenience just a short walk from town? But fall in love we did. The place was idea for our party, two families of four adults and four teens. The apartment suite above the garage was a great getaway for one set of adults and a child, while the rest of us took over the house. Everything worked as advertised, and best of all Richard was exceedingly responsive to all questions not just before we rented the house but also during our week on the premises. You never felt like you were imposing, and he even FedEx'd over a dongle to make the excellent living room stereo system compatible with new iPhones. But in truth, there actually was one thing that does linger as a favorite memory: sitting on the chaise lounge on the back patio and watching as all manner of resplendent birds would alight on the large stone fountain to drink and even clean their feathers. It was positively mesmerizing, and the very definition of being on vacation and away from the vagaries of work. A true oasis.

Perfect home for a perfect trip!
We rented the home for a family Birthday trip. There were 8 of us (all adults) in the home, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate -- and ski! The house was exactly as described and has all the amenities -- especially in the kitchen -- that you would expect in a high end rental. The house is roomy, comfortable and extremely well appointed. I am an active cook who has rented several homes over the years, and this is by far the best equipped kitchen of any rental I've experienced. We can only imagine how beautiful this home is in the summer, when there is full access to the back patio, the yard and the immediate surroundings. Lastly, the owner, Richard, was extremely responsive to every question/request, and clearly wanted to ensure that our experience was flawless. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Thanks again, Richard!!

Very nice
The cottage and garage apartment on Rocking Horse were exactly what we needed. Both are tastily decorated and are more than adequately furnished with everything one might need. We also appreciate the quick responses from the owner to our questions. Being near the Hemingway school and its large play areas were a big plus for us and our grandchildren.
