We had a wonderful stay to celebrate our anniversary. There was great communication by the host, everything was in perfect condition, and the property was as advertised. The cabin was the perfect combination of modern and rustic. It was charming, high tech, and extremely comfortable. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay in the luxury cabin with everything we needed to rest and relax between various events at W&L. So peaceful and quiet and super clean and cozy. Plenty of room and gorgeous woodwork and wrap around porch. Beds and shower were especially nice! Lots of extra touches to make you feel welcome and special! Want to come back when we can just stay in the cabin for a few days and not leave for events.

My wife and I were in Lexington for my W&L reunion and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dave’s cabin. We had nice spring weather so we enjoyed the wrap around porch. Everything was in good shape inside and out. We didn’t use the kitchen much because of attending events around campus but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. At night we tended to gravitate to the loft for a glass of wine and reading. We will definitely stay there in the future. Dave was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

The cabin is very well-appointed with a lot of thoughtful details. Super comfortable bed and very quiet because it is set back in the forest. Communication was easy and Dave was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is fabulous! Everything was perfect during our stay! I would give it more than 5 stars for cleanliness, if I could! Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of and provided by the hosts, from snacks and drinks, to copious amounts of towels and pillows, even luxurious bathrobes. And we enjoyed watching the deer romp from the huge, wrap-around porch. It was just a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. And communication with the hosts couldn’t have been easier. Dave always replied to me very quickly. We were there for our son’s graduation from VMI (a quick, easy drive), so we were running around a lot for graduation and commissioning festivities, but we plan on going back for a more laid back, relaxing vacation!

My husband and I have been wanting to visit The Natural Bridge and the Charlottesville area. We really enjoy VRBO vs hotels. This cabin is everything we hoped it would be. The location is remote and in the middle of trees, nature, and quiet. The design of the cabin is exquisite and every detail is well thought out for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is well supplied with everything for coffee and snacks. This was a welcome due to our late arrival. The bed in the upstairs master was very comfortable and the linens and bedding are luxurious. There are bathrobes and the choice of a relaxing bath in the whirlpool tub for two or the perfect shower in the spa like shower complete with shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. The communication with the owners was timely and very helpful. Dave and Susan had left flowers and a birthday card on the dining table! A perfect touch and a true testament to their commitment of ensuring our stay was memorable. We will definitely come here again and stay in this beautiful cabin.

This is an upscale cabin in a beautiful, private setting. We were 3 friends who came to this area for hiking, painting and relaxation. The cabin was spotless and had luxury bedding and lots of extras including spa robes, fresh flowers, snacks and drinks. When I asked if there would be a Scrabble game available, the host went out and bought new set. We loved the sunny breakfast nook and wrap around porch. I recommend this cabin for adults who want a quiet break and time for self care.

Our daughter had a three-day equestrian show at the nearby Virginia Horse Center. My elderly parents were attending as well, so it was an opportunity to turn a horse show weekend into an abbreviated family vacation. The cabin exceeded our expectations. We were positioned in a quiet, rural setting surrounded by nature, while still being within a fifteen minute drive to the Virginia Horse Center and downtown historic Lexington. The cabin was clean and the amenities were first-class. I highly recommend this property.

The cabin was everything we could have asked for: quiet, warm and cozy, and so peaceful! The drive into Lexington was easy. Susan and David were great communicators and even gave us a weather update when there was a possibility of snow! We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

The cabin was everything I hoped it to be! My husband and had a wonderful weekend. Clean, cozy, close to local activities and restaurants. The views were dreamy and I had my ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

This cottage is really a place away from the rat race ! Secluded, comfortable, tastefully decorated with an interesting array of figurines and collectibles! Beautiful views from the wrap around deck. Fully equipped kitchen and lovely breakfast nook ! Though tucked away from the world, it's only minutes to town. The hosts, Dave & Susan ,went over the top to make this a fabulous Christmas trip!Would definitely recommend this Vrbo !!

This cabin was perfect for our stay in the Blue Ridge mountains. Hosts were very accommodating & checked to make sure everything was great for our stay. Wonderful secluded location in the woods but also convenient to everything we wanted to do in nearby Lexington, VA.

This cabin sits in a great location. The host contacted us making sure we arrived ok. This is a very nice place to stay, we will definitely be staying here again. The first night we saw a momma bear with three cubs.

One of the reasons we chose to stay here was because of the great reviews and they are spot on. The location is great, secluded but very close to grocery and an easy drive to the universities. The house was extremely clean. We really enjoyed our stay and communication was great. Would stay again and recommend to anyone visiting VMI or W&L.

A very nice property that is away from crowds and traffic. It was great to sit on the porch and have a morning cup of coffee and take in the scenery. A must stay!

This was a great stay! The home was just as described, and looked even better in person than the pictures. They just can't do it justice. This was roughly 15 minutes from the Virginia Horse Center, perfect for our Vaulting Competition. It was peaceful and very well cared for. It had everything we needed - a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, and laundry. It had two very well appointed bedrooms and baths. The downstairs bedroom was located near the door. The owners were sweet enough to set up the Murphy bed, which was great, because that's exactly where our daughter wanted to sleep. The owners were great, and were incredibly responsive. We can't thank them enough! Such a great stay for such a busy weekend.

We enjoyed a very peaceful stay in this newly appointed, fully furnished and very clean cabin. The beds were beautifully decorated and comfy! We appreciated the thoughtful touches such as a snack basket and soft drinks in the fridge. We will be back!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, well maintained and stocked with everything you need. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door with snacks, soft drinks, k-cups for the Keurig coffee maker and even fresh flowers on the tables. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching all of the wildlife around the cabin, a trip to Natural Bridge State Park and walking the area trails the owner recommended. You won’t be disappointed if you book this cabin. It’s a beautiful luxurious cabin in the woods with very thoughtful hosts! We definitely would stay here again!
