Very interesting aesthetic, amazing location right next to Pier 2 art district, and super helpful staff.

Had some issues with electricity, lights turning on and off randomly. Only happened the first night though and not the second.

Check-in staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. While we were checking in, she told a guest on the phone that she doesn't speak English and just hang up on them. Our room didn't match the photos: the bed is resting against a pillar and could only be accessed from one side, and there was only one night stand. One of the windows didn't have a blackout curtain, only a venitian blind, so it was there was light in the room early in the morning. Finally, the spring mattress was extremely unconfortable: it would bounce endlessly if the other person moved even a little bit. It was so bad that we couldn't sleep for half of the night, and one of us had to sleep on the floor. We had to cancel our 2nd night and find an other hotel.

Functional hotel in a very convenient location, near the stop of the Kaohsiung tram (light rail)) and Pier #2. No service claims. Nice modern design, nice view from the window.

The room was small, only 17 sq. meters, most of the room was occupied by a bed. I stayed at the hotel at the end of August, breakfasts were in the neighboring building of the hotel, with terrible queues (although the employees worked flawlessly).

It looked nice and was clean. The tv had many channels and movies. Good a/c in the room. Clean sheets and pillow. Friendly desk clerk. Comfy lobby couches and chairs while we were waiting for our taxi pickup.

It was a very small room, I kept bumping into the TV when walking by the bed. The shower was small and the shower head was broken (still usable, but water spurting everywhere). The first morning while the staff were cleaning, someone was smoking in one of the "non-smoking" rooms with the door open. The whole hallway reeked of smoke. The breakfast was in a separate building and only average. Not worth the value.

I room was nice, and breakfast was OK.

The walls between room were very thin and could hear every movement next door.
