The location was amazing next to the water and very easy to access Amsterdam if you have a car via park & ride - the hotel is well decorated.

No mattress protection under the bed sheets. The mattress underneath was not clean…

we thought this was a lovely hotel. Quickly located beside the quenelles for a canal boating holiday. Great breakfast. Good food and atmosphere in the restaurant. Terrific staff and comfortable good sized rooms, nice nautical atmosphere.

Nowhere in the shower to put your bottles. Only towel rail in inside the shower cubicle. Bar closed at midnight on the dot, shame as we'd just got back from a concert and wanted drinks.

The location, the quietness of the room. The beds were comfortable. Internet was good enough. Thre is a paid parking, but we were advised by the reception we can park for free in front of the hotel, and so we did. The cleanliness in the room was ok-ish; for example, we could see a layer of dust in the electric socket in the bathroom.

The breakfast area was barely lit, it felt more like in a bar. The selection of healthy food (fruits, vegetables, whole grain bread, vegetarian milk) also was rather limited in comparison to things like bread, cereals, jams etc.

The hotel looked smart but advertised wrong

I requested a double bed but got twin beds where the mattresses kept falling off. I accidentally spilt something on the bed so requested a clean but the bed just got made and not clean sheets. Coffee in the room was awful. Hardly any sleep with being so close to the motorway. This isn't made clear on the booking I asked to sit outside as it was a nice day and the main reason we chose this hotel was so we could sit outside and look at the lake after a busy city day!!! Very over priced in the bar for drinks. When we went to the bar for a drink a lady who worked there rushed in after us and asked what were we doing as we were looking out the window at the lake before going to the bar. She was very rude!!! Would not stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Leonardo Hotel Vinkeveen Amsterdam and overall, I had a very satisfying experience. From the cleanliness of the hotel to the friendly staff, it provided everything I needed for a comfortable short stay, and possibly even a longer one. While its location may be a bit far from the center of Amsterdam, there are convenient transportation options available to connect you to the city. The first thing that struck me upon entering the hotel was its cleanliness. The entire property was impeccably maintained, and my room was spotless. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests, and their warm hospitality made me feel welcome. Compared to other hotels in Amsterdam, the rates here are more than fair, especially considering the quality of service and facilities provided.

One of the downsides of this hotel is its location. It is situated quite far from the center of Amsterdam. Although there are transportation options available, such as the metro and a regional bus service, it does require some planning and navigating to reach the city's attractions.

Excellent hotel, the breakfast was fabulous, the location is in the quite side of the main road. 20 minutes by car to the center of Amsterdam, 20 minutes to the airport. Very comfortable location to travel around. The bed was comfy with a lot of pillows. Very good Harbour club inside.

The coffee machine would have been better if 1. the water were hotter, 2. there was fresh milk rather than creamer for the tea. It would have been helpful to have had more information about bus/tram travel to and from the hotel to Amsterdam
