Pleasant stay in peaceful and quiet surroundings. Convenient to everything. Appreciated the time and location as I was able to see my brother I hadn’t seen in a very long time. Thanks to the host for being very responsive.

Nice older home that was very functional for our use. Well stocked with linens, kitchen items and even snacks.

We needed a base of operation to visit our Twin Grandaughters completing their Masters Degree- one in Houston and one in Austin. It was the perfect spot for those travel days as well as giving us a good landing spot for sightseeing too. Nice home, well equipped in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you for a pleasant stay! House was in a quiet location, but there was to many shrubs in front of house to enter and bees In side of house was dirty, cob webs, inch thick dust in some areas , dry vent is a fire hazard I will definitely Not rent this house Person that was there before me and left a note pretty much stating how dirty house is

This location worked out great for our fishing trip. Room to park your truck and boat in the driveway and be able to plug the boat in for charging. House was nice and clean, had everything that we needed, thanks for letting stay.

Came to Texas to visit family. The house we rented was lovely, quiet. GREAT mattress. All around good place.

House was as described in listing. They are in the process of updating a few things. So with matrials and tools the garge wasn't useable

Everything needed to stay in comfort while moving. Back yard and patio with grill were a great plus. Laundry, Kitchen, beds, baths, TV, there was even a clothesline! Truly like staying at Grandma's place with all the warmth and homeyness that term evokes. We were impressed with how quiet the neighborhood is because it is very close to anything you might need to shop for. Sue, the property manager, is absolutely charming and was attentive to every need, no matter how tiny. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay in Temple. I would definitely stay here again. Had a little trouble getting the lock box to open, but other than that everything was great.

This house is well kept, should have brought some steaks for the new grill in the back yard! I'd stay there again, no issues, just what I needed for 2 nights in Temple when the hotels were all sold out! Next time I won't be looking for a hotel :-)

Felt like i was transported back in time to my Grandma’s house. Very relaxing home on a quiet street near BSW and central to Temple/Belton shopping and restaurants. Nice climate controls(outside temps were freezing), hot water and everything we needed for a weekend stay. There is internet access from a desktop computer, but no WiFi. Sue called before our arrival and checked to make sure everything was OK During our stay.

Thank you for our making our intern feel so welcome in your home. We have rented 2 summers in a row and love working with the owner. She is willing to help when needed an stopped by to make sure everything was perfect for the intern. I definitely recommend staying in this home!

I loved the backyard with plenty of shade to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. I would of loved to grill out but the grill looked unsafe and was afraid to use it. We enjoyed reading about the history of the house and understand why the owner keep the older furniture but I would of enjoyed a more comfortable chair to sit in. The beds were nice but the mattresses were not, they probably need to be replaced. The kitchen had everything that you would need. The house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The owner was great to communicate with and instructions easy to follow.

I just want to thank Sue for sharing her (her mother's) home. The house was just the right size for my boyfriend and I. It was nicely stocked with anything needed (We cooked dinner for my son we were visiting) and had all the pans, utensils, dishes and everything. The fenced in backyard and covered patio was nice. It was conveniently located close to where my son and his family live. Sue was very nice and came to check to see if there was anything we needed and even brought cupcakes. If I am in the area again I would definitely stay here again.

The house is a nice house. Sue is a nice host. We made a home of it because we were there for 70 days. Not all was perfect but all worked out well. My only negative comment was I thought I paid too much for what I received. I do not have a regret though. I would do it again.

We are from Italy and we stayed 5 nights in this beautiful single home in Temple, Texas. Everything was cozy and comfortable, the house is equipped with everything you need. It might need only a couple of little fixes (bathroom and master bedroom doors). Mrs Sue was always sweet and caring. She stopped by a couple of times to check on us. House was not clean..or maintained could tell even simple things like dusting had not been done for a while. After i complained they did come and do a quick dust to try but not really up to par. 21 month daughter cut her foot on the gaps in wood flooring and when they repaired they just did so with glue and left over parts of wood it made the pocket doors harder to close. Home owner was nice even sweet with promises of helping me meet people in the area, inviting me to events (i never got the details to meet anyone) and giving me money back for being upset about the roaches in the home. but never followed thru and had to clean up roaches daily. Also was hard to get her people to mow even when i was told they would show up. Had 3 days of the home smelling awful from gas since she often waits with car running in garage for yard maintenance people. Spoke to custormer services times as well as homeowner i will never ise rhis service again. Well.see if i get my deposit refund back.. been waiting a few weeks

We needed a home for the summer months for our internship program and found this lovely home. We appreciated working with Dr. Hamby as she was helpful, easy to get in touch with and very eager to make our stay enjoyable. Please see the below comments from the interns that stayed in Dr. Hamby's home. The house provided us with everything we needed for our summer Internship in Temple. Dr. Hamby was just a phone call away if we ever had any problems, and she would send her maintenance guy out there the same or next day. The house was located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and we never had any problems with the neighbors. We will deffinatley consider renting this home again if we need another home in Temple.

I had a very nice and peaceful stay while in temple. The house is very comfortable and homey in a very nice quiet and safe neighborhood. The owner was very sweet and made sure we were well taken care of with snacks and such and checked on us to make sure all was ok, Beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Very close to Scott and white and just a few blocks from shopping, theater, and multiple restaurants as well as STARBUCKS. Will definitely come here again when I return to Temple.

The house is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. It was exactly what we were looking for. I will definitely rent this property again.

We wanted a nice place to relax for a week & we found it here. It's a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors & the house has a back covered porch where we spent a lot of time. The washer & dryer came in handy too. Sue was wonderful- she had everything there we needed & offered information on places to visit, restaurants & grocery stores. If you enjoy walking, several restaurants are within a mile walking distance. We would definately stay here again if we get back to Texas. Thanks Sue!

This home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, close to food and shopping. The house is clean and well maintained and was very comfortable for us and our handicapped daughter. The owner is wonderful to work with, making sure we were supplied with everything we needed and even had snacks waiting for us on our arrival. We will be interested in using this property again on our next visit to the area.

Nice, comfy home in a quiet location. Visited family and spent more time at rental than their house. Owner was very nice and easy to deal with. We will stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Temple and Sue's home was very nice and perfectly suited for our stay. The location was convenient for our bass tournament at Lake Belton and we will surely consider Sue's home the next time we visit the Temple area
