L'environnement luxuriant, le village à l'écart de Sintra, l'équipement assez complet et bien pensé du studio, le parking à proximité. Possibilité de prendre le bus vers Sintra, Caicais ou la plage: très pratique, bon marché mais les horaires ne semblent pas vraiment respectés.

Fantastic and beautiful garden in a quiet area. Sunbeds and garden furniture on which you can eat meals during the day with a mountain view. Perfect for two person! Shop in walking distance (5 min), good localisation if you want to visit Sintra or go to the Beach.

WiFi connection is not stable and not always working

Ricardo is an amazing host who does all in his ability to satisfy guests.

The appartment we rented smelled terribly smokey. Ricardo told the previous guests were smoking inside although forbidden. Ricardo offered an upgrade to a much larger appartment we really liked. We had a small issue with musty bed sheets but that was also solved by replacing them.

Location is ok is you arrive by car.

Shower dosen't drain, and owner explains it is intentional as part of some "green key" certification. Problem is the owner fails to pre inform the guests of this fact, which in turn creates a health hazard because I found myself standing in a pool of my own dirt, and probably of the other guests too - yucky 🤮.

We loved it from the first minute! Ricardo has carefully send check in instructions. However, as we warned him in advance, he received us personally. He also sent us information on things to do in the area and important practicalities that made us feel at home quickly. The apartment is professionally decorated with top modern design furniture. And minimalist decor. It also has everything you need to cook and stay here without any problem. A staircase that leads to the wonderful garden that has some tea plants. We loved it and will definitely be back.

It's been almost 2 months since I visited Water Lines Blue in Colares and I just cannot stop recollecting how wonderful I felt there. This garden (a real taste of nature in its best!!!), this village, those local people, Ricardo the host himself - it was all perfect. The best experience of non-tourist Portugal I've ever had (of course I did everything a tourist dreams about when being in Portugal :D), and it was my 9th time in this amazing country! I recommend the place as a perfect spot for cherishing peace and quiet and at the same time a very convenient starting point for sightseeing trips. My tip: use public transport whenever You can - Portuguese buses are great ! And don't miss Sintra's electrico !!!

I wish Colares was closer to Warsaw :)
