Enjoyed our 2nd stay here. The house is stocked really well with towels, kitchen & cooking needs, as well as cleaning needs. The air hockey table is an added bonus for my husband and I lol. It’s very clean other than the carpet stains, but that’s not a deal breaker. On this recent stay, the master bath shower and under the master sinks have been leaking so the smell of sulfur was pretty strong. We just kept the door shut and exhaust fan on and that helped a lot. We will be returning.

Its our 3rd time staying at this property. We had a minor water problem and were able to contact an owner immediately. Looking forward to many more family adventures here as we find this rental accommodates the wide range in ages of our family - from 7 to 85.

Great property for a family get away. Close enough to the main attraction, the elk, and far anough away to enjoy the piece ans quiet of nature.

The house was very comfortable for our family. Went to use the BBQ grill and previous guest that used it did not clean it properly and had growth on the grill. Decided to use a different method of cooking our hamburgers. After Monday night football we realized we did not have water. Called and they told us they would be over in the morning. Was fixed prior to most of the family getting out of bed. Would definitely consider this property again.

We enjoyed the location and were hoping to see elk in the nice yard but did not see any there. We always love renting off of Seth because he is easy to work with and quick to respond. Cabin met our needs. I slept great there.

The house met all of our needs and then some. The weather was not great during our stay which couldn't be helped. The elk were hard to find on this trip, but we found other means of entertainment in the general area. Our luck changed when we found out that the grounds of the Visitor Center actually opened earlier than what the sign says if they have the staff. We saw 4 cows in the cemetery one evening after getting soaked looking for them in the field. The next morning before we left, we finally saw a bull with an awesome rack and a bunch of turkeys at the center around 7:15AM. You just need to be in the right place at the right time. We also enjoyed the Farmers Inn in Sigel and the Double Diamond Deer Ranch. We had brisket with homemade BBQ chips at the Apple Valley BBQ, great meals at the Dream Catch, and Penn State Creamery ice cream at the trailer on Winslow Hill.that was totally awesome. Everyone we met on this trip were friendly and very helpful sharing tips on where and when to look for elk.

Everything from on line booking, to emails prior to arrival, to having everything needed readily available at the lodge, to the peaceful setting was excellent. Priceless memories were made and thank you for sharing it with us. Totally awesome!!

It is a clean big house. I would raise the step into the high because because it isn't comfortable with knee replacement. The fridge and freezer stop working which wasn't good. The location is close to everything you would want

That will be my first choice to stay when i return to that beautiful side of Pennsylvania. I called Seth and he dropped off fire wood for us and all of his neighbors were very friendly with all of us. We got to meet great people at Rosyes diner.

The house very clean and comfortable. There was everything we needed to cook our meals and relax. The host was quick to answer any questions, and made it easy to have a great vacation. We had Turkeys in the yard every morning and even had 2 big bull elk

My husband, children and I have stayed at this lovely house before. So, I thought it would be the perfect place to have Thanksgiving with my parents who haven't left their house for fun since COVID. They were blown away at how beautiful the house and area was. The convenience for them to move around the 1 floor house was perfect! My mom has cancer, so using her walker was easy to get around from room to room. She wasn't able to go down to the game room, but we had an absolute blast playing air hockey and listening to the record player.. which my young kids had no idea what it was.. LOL! It was a nice relaxing trip! Didn't see any wildlife in the yard, but we drove to Benezete and saw TONS of Elk. Perfect getaway, perfect house, has everything you need!

This looked even better in person…home away from home for the whole family…loved the house it was perfect actually even big for how many people we had but great place clean as well as great communication with owner.

This was our second year staying at BHL. Hoping to book for next year too. It’s off the beaten path yet not far from Benezette and the elk viewing areas. Very roomy house with yard & pet friendly. Great family memories!

House was large and comfortable. King bed was great. Enjoyed sitting on back deck.

We enjoyed the house, everything was great. We saw lots of elk in Bennezett and enjoyed relaxing at the house.

Several generations came out and stayed for 4 days at the end of September. We all loved the property, the amenities & had a great mini vacation together. Lots of laughter, eating and quality time was had. The elk were majestic and a joy to watch.

This is our third year using this property and my family loves it. I have grandchildren that are 6 yrs and under who actually can recall the trip and ask to go each year. Thank you so much for providing such an awesome place we can all stay at together.

We had a wonderful stay and everyone enjoyed it. The house was very neat and clean. We had a beautiful camp fire. We did have two bull elk butting heads in the back yard. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to get away! The location was quiet and private, but it was still easy to get to any destination. We saw elk the first morning across the street, which was amazing. Although the weather didn’t fully cooperate (it was very rainy!) we still found plenty to do and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hosts were very responsive, and the check-in process couldn’t be easier. One thing to keep in mind- make sure to bring plenty of bottled water, since it’s not recommended to drink the water from the tap (septic system). We would definitely stay here again- and hopefully the weather will hold up better next time!

Nice location but did not see any elk. Did not know the Elk Expo was this weekend and soooo many people. Window hill was a real task to navigate. Love Bennezette and will definitely be back.

We loved the location and privacy. The house was clean, water pressure was good, beds comfortable. There was an abundant amount of dishes, pots & pans, towels, extra sheets, blankets and cleaning supplies, etc. The rental has window a/c and kept the whole house extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the air hockey table on our down time. Will definitely stay again.

Very clean, lots of room for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Fire pit, deck, big yard, away from any neighbors. Loved the finished basement with air hockey table. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the spacious home. Room to be together or apart for quiet time. Enjoyed watching deer from the bwck deck and campfires at night. Plenty of elk to see in the immediate area too.
