Plenty of room for our family of 11. Kids (and adults!) loved the ping pong table, foosball table, and giant tree swing. Kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. Beautiful area. Host was nearby and responded quickly to any questions we had. Check-in and out were simple and easy.

This house in Lookout Mountain is gorgeous and really close to Rock City and Chattanooga. The whole house was clean and had plenty of space for our large group!

We rented this property as one of two houses for a family reunion and found it to be very clean. This property had more bedrooms than the other one allowing the young ones in our group to stay with us. One of our challenges was having enough bedrooms. While this property had lots of beds, our group had lots of adults who needed separate bedrooms not beds. Additionally, the small children required separate bedrooms. The floor plan would be great for a church group with lots of teenagers who did not mind sharing rooms with others, as some of the rooms could accommodate 7 people.
The original part of the house appears to have been built in the early 70s. The kitchen was small and easily got crowded quickly. The double ovens appear to be original as does the dishwasher. They were small but worked fine. There are adequate pots, pans, dishes and silverware for a large group.
There were lots of signs and labels inside and outside of the house letting guests know what was and was not allowed. I personally found this a bit off-putting.
The owners live across the street. We had lots of communication upon our arrival about parking. The property details on the listing indicate there are a total of 11 parking spots for this property. However, upon arrival, we were told there are 9 spots and the parking spots on the road are sometimes shared with the owners overflow parking requirements.
We thoroughly enjoyed the location and being up on Lookout Mountain!

Located in the woods of Lookout Mountain in a quiet area, this was an excellent choice for our family reunion. There were plenty of rooms in the home with lots of options for sleeping arrangements. The dining room was large enough for the eight of us, and the living room was cozy and great for relaxed conversation. The kitchen was well supplied with anything we needed. We had 15 people and the house was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio. The chipmunks would come out each morning to eat. Bedrooms was really nice with the blackout curtains. Everything was close by.

Excellent for large groups
We traveled with our Girl Scout Troop and had 5 adults, 5 teens, and 3 preteens. Everyone had there own bed and family/ friend groups had their own bedroom. There were enough bathrooms for all of us (girls) to get ready without any trouble. The house was clean, the kitchen was well organized and the fairy lights were a nice touch. We didn’t get to enjoy the backyard as much as we would have liked due to rain and a short stay with a busy schedule. We would definitely stay here again! The property manager contacted us at check in to make sure everything was ok. The game room in the garage was handy and the girls enjoyed the swing out front.

Just-right lodging for a big family celebration
We visited this home for my wife's birthday celebration. Having all 11 of our kids, kid-in-laws, and grandsons with us, I wasn't sure how we'd do finding a good place that would house us all comfortably and with a good level of cleanliness and space.
This property turned out to be a really great fit for the whole family with lots of rooms for the little ones to sleep, and gathering spaces for all the adults to meet, talk, eat, and play.
Marcie was great as you will see from the many positive reviews, and checkin/checkout were both seamless.

Young reunion 2021
The rental process was very easy. Marcie was very friendly and helpful. The property is secluded in Look Out Mountain, and there was plenty of room for our family of 21. The game room was a hit with the kids! Rock City and Starbucks is right around the corner from the property which was VERY convenient. The comfort of this property is really beyond words. I encourage anyone looking for a getaway to stay here. You won't be disappointed!

The house offered everything we needed for our golf trip. Marcie made sure the grills were in working order, so that we could grill which was awesome. Everyone had plenty of space to hang out as well as sleep. Pictures don't do it justice in a good way. Place is sneaky big. Thanks for a great weekend.

This was my first time with using a house for vacation. We have 15 people in our family from a small rambunctious 3 year old boy, twin girls who love to cuddle and play with their cousins, and two other "all" boy grandsons. One plays with his cousins and the oldest (8 years) likes his privacy. Plus parents, a 21 year old daughter, and 23 year old adopted son. This was Excellent. Each family had a room, bath, and place to stay. We ate in around the big table and some adults were able to eat at another table enjoying a conversation. The family had s'mores, pleyed in the swing with a long rope that was the best- according to the 5 year old grandson. The oldest grandson loved foosball and learned how to play ping pong. I enjoyed cuddling with my grandkids watching Raya the Last Dragon on the TV in the backroom. The checkin and checkout was seamless. Marcia Pettit is quick to respond to questions, provides all your need at the house, has good instructions for the house. The grounds have lots of places for conversations, playing with kids, and just relaxing after a long day. If I had to have a critique the one area to improve is the rug in the top south room did not lay flat. I kicked it nearly every time I walked in. But my rug at home has trouble also. Bring your family or friends, stay and make memories that your kids and grandkids will remember long after the vacation.
