This property is a gem! Location is a three minute walk from the passenger ferry in Cruz Bay. Elevator access to the property from the parking garage. Beach supplies included. Property has a generator in case there are power outages. Such friendly and prompt communication. You would be remiss to pass up the opportunity to stay here for an escape to paradise!

So it is listed as a Studio and I understand that concept, but it also states 2 bedrooms. The ad they created is confusing due to this. As I was traveling with my 80 year old mother and my older daughter, I took this to mean that one bed would be in the Main portion of the condo and that there was most likely an actual 2nd bedroom (converted small office or something of that nature).This was not true. It was all just one big common area for the four of us. There were no grilling or cooking utensils, no dishwasher or stove as stated. No dish drying rack, patio curtains should be black out, since that's the 2 bedroom area. Only 2 wine glasses, 6 cup coffee pot that I had to make several pots each morning. The list goes on, they just renovated and it's nice but it did not provide a great staying experience. I've stayed at 2 other units at the same property and they were excellent, this one was far from it. Then we asked for an extra blanket for my daughter and the property service guy comes into the condo, goes immediately to the thermostat and gives us an attitude on what it was set on and stated that's why we need an extra blanket, no we needed it so my daughter could have one. My mother was just outside walking and needed to cool down, he's lucky I wasn't present when this happened. Owner wouldn't respond once we brought up the issues. FYI, Listing was changed after we brought this up to them, so they know they were in the wrong. What a terrible experience.

Our stay at the Grande Bay exceeded our expectations. The studio met all of our needs, the kitchen was well equipped, the studio included a washer and dryer which we found very convenient. The short walk to restaurants and shops meant that we didn't need to rent a car for this part of our vacation.
We enjoyed the view from the deck each morning watching all of the water activity in Cruz Bay. The pool area was clean and well maintained. This is definitely a property we will return to.

This place could not have been more perfect for me and my husband. Celebrated our 25th anniversary here, first time to St. John. When we go back, we will absolutely stay here again. This unit is newly, beautifully renovated - it was clean as can be. It's a studio which was perfect for the two of us. The view from our room was an ocean view, perfect for watching the sail boats and the ferry come and go. Also loved having a washer and dyer in our unit and the location was perfection. We rented a jeep from the owner, and explored the island and different beaches during the day. Every night, we walked around Cruz Bay shopping, eating at a new restaurant every night, and bar hopping. Communication from the owner was excellent, as they provided a guide and info for our stay before we arrived, as well as arranging for someone to pick us up from the ferry drop off and give us a ride to our place, which is actually within a short walking distance of the ferry drop off. The Jeep we rented was conveniently parked in our parking spot at Grande Bay, ready to go when we arrived, and easy to return. Everything went smoothly - I would not change one thing about this trip or where we stayed. We cannot wait to go back!!

We had a great stay. The unit was very clean. The second "bed" wasn't the best option for someone to sleep in. After figuring out how to get the bed out, it leaves very little room for the tv to rest on top--make it very unstable. One slight move and the tv was going to fall. We ended up taking the "mattress" out and laying it on the floor. There also isn't an iron in the unit and could use more bath towels. We had to wash towels several times during our visit.

Excellent stay! Beautifully renovated and decorated villa with amazing view of Cruz Bay, short walk to restaurants, shopping, ferry. Access to beach chairs, floats, noodles provided. We rented the owners’ Jeep, which included a covered parking space! The attendant assigned to us was so helpful with any questions and concerns we had, and worked extremely hard to accommodate my husband’s recent back problems. Bed extremely comfy and bath lovely. Nice kitchenette! New smart tv, but we were too tired in the evening to enjoy it! Definitely want to return to this villa!!

The view on the balcony is amazing, the pool was nice to relax in the evening, and the location is perfect. The pull out bed could have been more comfortable. Overall, the stay was great and would recommend it!

Loved St John and this condo was convenient to walk to restaurants. We rented the owner’s Jeep which was a great way to get around the island.

We so enjoyed staying here - proximity to everything in Cruz Bay is awesome, we enjoyed the pool/hot tub views every evening, and the kitchen was perfect for just a few simple meals in!

This is in the best location in St John. A two minute walk to all that Cruz Bay has to offer. Lots of great bars and restaurants. There is also a nice pool on the property that we used in the afternoons. The great beaches of St John are only a 10 - 15 minute drive away. Everything else in St John is a short walk.
Would highly recommend the Lime Inn for dinner. Exceptional!

Wonderful studio apartment in great location. The condo owners actually have their property manager meet you at the dock and bring you directly to the condo - no worries! Easy walk to all of the restaurants and shops in Cruz Bay. Exceptionally clean and well-maintained condo and resort complex. Gorgeous view from balcony-even prettier than the photo online. Condo well equipped with beach towels, chairs and even coolers to bring to the beach. The staff at Grande are so helpful and friendly. We have ben to St. John many times and there is no better place to stay for a couple planning to venture into town each evening!
Only issue was that the online listing includes "kitchen" and in actuality there is only a kitchenette with sink, microwave and mini-fridge but no stove top or oven. We easily made due with the electric griddle provided.

Location was superb, owner Carey super helpful with lots of great tips for us, resort personnel all very friendly, enjoyed the short walk each night to all the Cruz Bay shops and restaurants. We are very grateful to have been able to park our Jeep in the resort garage as otherwise this would have been a big inconvenience for us. Loved the complimentary coffee available to us each morning in the front lobby. The sheets/bedding could have been better quality, would have liked to have had more than 1 beach towel each and loved there were nice beach chairs and coolers for us to use. Otherwise kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Shower could have been cleaner (had some mold in it). Lastly, THAT VIEW!!!! We were definitely Livin’ the Dream during our 1 week stay.

We enjoyed our studio at Grande Bay. Since we really only drank coffee on the balcony, showered and slept there, it was perfect. Most of our time was out exploring the beautiful island of St John. Great location and studio had coffee pot, mini fridge and basic necessities. Only negative would be the peeling paint on the tiles in the bathroom, which didn’t bother me but might others. Overall, quaint studio and would stay again!

We loved our studio in Grande Bay. Its perfectly located within walking distance to many restaurants and stores. The unit overlooks the bay. We loved sitting out on the balcony eating breakfast watching the boat go by. Carey was always in touch during the booking process and was so nice.
We were 2 adults and one child and it was a perfect space. We loved that there was a washer/dryer inside the unit as well as a parking space in the garage. A jeep rental is a must! Our property manager Craig was wonderful and was always available to answer questions. St John is a beautiful island and we were so glad that we could stay in this unit to fully enjoy it.

Our second time at Grand Bay and another amazing experience. After a few minor issues with A/C they tried to resolve but our host ended up upgrading us to another much larger suite at no cost. Office staff very accommodating five stars for us

The check in process was very easy and professional, with the assistance of a greeter at the ferry dock who not only took us to the condo, but took the time to quickly show us around town, familiarizing us with the location, recommending restaurants, etc. what really stood out to us was the way the condo was stocked with all of the essentials, including many thoughtful extras such as sunscreen, beach chairs, coolers and much more. It truly made it feel like we were walking into our own home. The entire condo was absolutely spotless. And the location can't be beat. Although we rented a jeep for exploring the island, anything and everything you need, including many amazing restaurants, bars, shopping and more is all within a 5-10 minute walk. Would gladly stay here again on our next trip!

The check in process was very easy and professional, with the assistance of a greeter at the ferry dock who not only took us to the condo, but took the time to quickly show us around town, familiarizing us with the location, recommending restaurants, etc. what really stood out to us was the way the condo was stocked with all of the essentials, including many thoughtful extras such as sunscreen, beach chairs, coolers and much more. It truly made it feel like we were walking into our own home. The entire condo was absolutely spotless. And the location can't be beat. Although we rented a jeep for exploring the island, anything and everything you need, including many amazing restaurants, bars, shopping and more is all within a 5-10 minute walk.
