We Loved our stay at Costa Ruby - such an amazing place to relax and unwind. Comfy beds, great shower, stunning views and of course the Hot Tub! Love the retro theme upstairs and all the little Knick knacks. so much thought has gone into everything. Very cool!

Lovely family villa. We all stayed on the top floor no issues and used the bedrooms below to store luggage. Gorgeous spot on the beach. We cycled and went for long walks. The takeaway next door had great Thai!

Our 3 night stay at Ruby Bay with family at this amazing beach front property was fantastic. Massive out door balcony area extremely well equipped with sun lounges, BBQ, tables the list goes on. Kitchen had everything you needed and oven was excellent. Loved the décor, that 70's feeling took us all back. Great bedrooms and comfortable beds. View was wonderful and you are steps away from the beach. Take away next door which was handy but took full advantage of the BBQ and balcony and fantastic view. My only negative for this property was there was a little too much chlorine in the spa, but apart from that would highly recommend and would not hesitate staying again. Central location to explore the Tasman Region which is a magical part of NZ. Thank you Sue, your property from the front gate to the beach is 5 Star

Great, laid-back spot, right on the beach. Quiet neighborhood. House is very well set up. Has pretty much everything you need. The house is like a late '60s, early 70's time warp! The owners have gone to great lengths the keep its original vibe with the decor & furniture, which we really liked! The only negative is the hot tub needs a service maybe, as only a couple of jets were working. I would have liked it to get a little hotter too. That said, however, we still enjoyed using it a couple of times. Definitely recommend the property & would stay there again.

Thanks for an excellent stay! We really enjoyed the house and the facilities. The host was most helpful and the hot tub fantastic! We would suggest some really clear instructions in regards to the TV operation and also the external gas heating. Everything else was fantastic!

We had an amazing stay at Costa Ruby, perfect for our “girls weekend”. The house has been perfectly set up and we can’t wait to come back with the guys. There is a wonderful mix of modern and retro that will be guaranteed to take you down memory lane. A total credit to the hostess:)

Plenty of room, outstanding gardens and multiple areas to dine outdoors and relax. Hot tub in immaculate condition. Retro style interiors, large TV and open fire or heat pump. Perfect for our 4 day stay and only 10 mins drive from Motueka. Interesting antique shops and cafes just 5 mins away in Mapua.

Can’t recommend this property enough, fantastic location, close to lots of activities, clean, very cool fit out, loved the spa and the view, we had the best time, thank you!

This bach suited us perfectly for a family of 6. We watched the sunrise and the kids kayak from the deck in the morning, dinner on the back deck at sunset, long walks on the beach at dusk. First book-a-bach we have stayed where we felt that really comfortable 'summer-bach-holiday' feeling. Bach has everything needed-plenty of space inside & outside & very clean and comfortable. hosts were super helpful and contactable. great location

A fabulous retro 2 bed house upstairs and a modern apartment downstairs. Well appointed and great extras like the kayaks and the spa pool which both got lots of use. Close to lots of fun stuff like Abel Tasman, Biking / mountain biking vineyards etc. The whole family loved our stay, and owners went the extra mile to send us back a key we left behind.

Lovely house. Retro and quirky upstairs, brand new downstairs. Fabulous decks with all day sun. Manicured gardens. Had everything we needed for our group of six. Highly recommend

A real gem. A lovely combination of restored 70s kiwiana and modern bach. Very comfortable and clearly a lot of time and effort has gone into it. Also, great communication from the very personable owners.

Fabulous property - inside and out. Met our needs perfectly (a get together of 1974 University flat mates). Very quiet, beautiful gardens immaculately maintained and house very comfortable with great ambience. The communication from owners/property manager excellent. Everything we may have even dreamed of having was available - right down to the hairdryer. The house was so roomy, homely (nostalgia everywhere) and the property immaculate. The spacious deck provides plenty of options. It was the perfect getaway for a group of friends. Sue ensured we had the best possible stay in their patch of paradise.

We had the most amazing stay here. The property is so interesting with artwork and interesting sculptures everywhere. The grounds are beautiful. The furniture and beds are super comfy. Everything you need and more. Lots of places to sit and soak up the views. Loved our stay so much. We will be back again. Many thanks.

Very well appointed house; brilliant location on beachfront and we all loved the landscaping and art/sculptures that were slowly discovered all round property. An inability to get dvd working was also quickly sorted. Would highly recommend it and go again. Thanks for lovely stay.

Fantastic beach house to stay at, so friendly and welcoming with everything you could need. We fished right off the beach in front of the house...many snapper were caught. Sue and Whitney are awesome to deal with. Hopefully we will return to Costa Ruby at Ruby Bay one day.

Great holiday bach! Excellent size and facilities for large groups. Great location to access both the Abel Tasman and Nelson.
