L’emplacement, l’accueil, la beauté des lieux, leur classe, l’excellent petit petit-déjeuner, la gentillesse et l’intelligence du personnel, Brenda et ses collègues ont été charmants et d’un grand secours. Cet établissement nous a transportés à travers le temps et l’histoire de Galdar. Bravo, merci à toutes et tous.

Rien ! Tout avait commencé avec difficulté à cause des préparatifs du carnaval. La ville était surchargée de voitures, les parkings fermés, la rue de l’hôtel fermée et nous avons dû patienter à 2 km de l’hôtel plusieurs heures dans la voiture pour que la ville se vide. Heureusement que l’accueil qui nous a été réservé nous a fait oublier cette aventure.

Location, building with a character tastefully renovated, excellent for the price. Features and facilities as described like a kettle on demand is available to heat water. The sleeping arrangement was comfortable

The hotel didn't inform us that there would be construction/renovation work in the next room from 8am everyday. We woke up to loud machinery nextdoor every morning. That wasn't so pleasant. I wish they had just informed us beforehand, so we would've known what to expect.

Ubicación excelente dentro del pueblo y también como punto de partida para explorar toda la zona norte y centro de la isla. El edificio en sí me encantó y la habitación muy cómoda. La zona superior, donde está el spa, genial para desconectar y estar tranquilo (por lo menos en enero). El restaurante vale la pena probarlo. Totalmente recomendable.

No es que sea una pega, pero hay que tener en cuenta que no tiene parking, pero no tuvimos problemas para aparcar cerca (en enero, claro)

Previamente en la web da a elegir el tipo de cama y habitación, seleccione la de mi gusto y pague por ella. Cuando llegue al establecimiento me habían cambiado de tipo de cama y habitación sin previo aviso ni ninguna compensación y añadir que ni se molestaron en avisar en recepción ni nada, tuve que informar del error y su respuesta fue que habían visto el comentario pero no tenían disponible y eso hay que preavisar porque si lo hubiese sabido optaba por cancelarlo.

El desayuno era excelente, el personal muy amable y el hotel acogedor y céntrico. El hotel cuenta también con un restaurante con servicio de almuerzos y cenas, que era exquisito. Super cercano a las Cuevas Pintadas, que también visitamos.

Tuvimos un problema con el agua, que salía sumamente fría. Por suerte nos dieron la llave de otra habitación para ir a ducharnos, y aunque la solución fué efectiva, no es lo ideal tener que mudarte de cuarto para ducharte.

Pillow, that long euro wedge, like sleeping on a curb stone. The rooftop pool is TINY .. it’s a plunge pool for sunbathing - can’t swim in it.

room with a view was the blank wall of a church . No fridge in the room. despite having fabulous wooden shutter to the window, the rest of the room was horrible with bright light on bedside phone- flashing modem behind tv- tv stand- by glowing red- all around the door to the bedroom at night was brightly illuminated from the lights in the corridor all night. pillow was incredibly hard. the sliding bathroom door was less than a metre from the bed which was dreadful for toilet smells. breakfast was so disappointing. had to ask for fresh bread, there was only 3 pieces of fruit left. had to ask for coffee. no eggs or a hot option. food plated up up had been out for hours & wasn’t chilled. for the amount of money I paid for this it was extremely overpriced . the restaurant wasn’t open in the evening on a Monday when I was there. the Swimming Pool on the roof terrace was only a dip pool- grossly exaggerated on the publicity for this hotel

would have liked a kettle and fridge, choices at breakfast were limited. one had to request juice, hot food, not obvious what was on offer. Our two day stay was when the hotel restaurant was closed and very few restaurants open on Mon and Tues evening.

Nice quiet town, great base for trips around . Beautifully decorated rooms, room view , helpful staff . I did eat twice in their restaurant, shouldn’t be missed ! Lovely fine dining , great wine . Parking behind hotel, 2 min walk- receptionist gave me an app for phone to pay for parking , which I found very useful and very cheap ! Hotel is beautifully decorated and well situated , walkable to everything- museums, restaurants, shops . Area on the roof with lovely views! Pity the bar was closed, when I was there , I guess it’s open only during summer season.

The church bells stop at midnight and start at 8 am , couldn’t sleep any longer. The church is right next to hotel. Didn’t have breakfast as there were not very healthy choices - fresh smoothies, vegetables, fruit salad , different style of eggs will be good .

Beautiful hotel in the historic centre, next to the church and beautiful garden square. The room is lovely and there is a rooftop terrace with stunning views and glass-sided pool. The Cueva Pintada archeological park is right there, as well as other good museums. It's very easy to reach by public transport from Las Palmas and also there are buses to Sardinia and Agaete. The history of the building is also interesting (read on their website).

The roof bar terrace wasn’t open for our stay. The roof pool was too cold. No kettle or fridge in the room.

Lovely boutique hotel, in an ideal location for visiting the museums of Galdar and Centro historico. Co.fortabl beds, stylish decor, quiet and peaceful with pleasant, light courtyard. Helpful staff and generous delicious breakfast. Only marked down on value for money as this was expensive for me but very much worth it for a little luxury.

Very nice place in the center of the nice city of Galdar. It was very clean and the personnel very kind. Convenient parking close to the hotel for 1eur/5h, but not marked on maps.

The bathroom is not really intimate, it is separated from the sleeping space by a heavy glass door.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, located in a nice square in Galdar. the bed is amazing!

the reception has a limited opening hours so if you arrive late you need to agree for check-and if you are leaving e.g. at 8:30 in the morning the reception is closed. Rooms are pretty new and nicely decorated but we had some minor issues e.g. with closure of the windows and the bathroom door and they cannot be fixed during our short stay. Some of the rooms have windows on the square, so if you are planning to go during holidays-christmas check if there are some celebration in the square, it can be very noisy.

It is a very beautifully renovated hotel. The staff were lovely and keen to help in any way possible. Breakfast was delicious and good quality. Galdar had a nice authentic Spanish feel with its church, market square, playgrounds, shops and tapas bar.

The see-through glass bathroom doors! I had read this was the case in previous reviews but presumed in the higher priced rooms the bathroom would have a door. I could see tape marks on the door that other guests had used as a temporary measure. The management should buy some portable blackout blinds as a temporary measure while trying to find a permanent fix. Parking is possible in nearby public car parks (for about €1 per day) but sometimes you have to wait to get a space.
