The stay at this place was hands down one of the nicest places I've stayed. Perfect villas and outdoor area. The house manager and staff were absolutely wonderful with EVERYTHING!!!! I highly recommend staying here!

The house, location, and staff were top notch. The master suite was spectacular. Lucy was beyond accommodating, readily available, and provided fabulous food recommendations! Pleasantly surprised that lots of great eats can be delivered right to your door! And you can walk to some of the best spots in town. Right up the beach is a fantastic hotel with great food/yoga/pilates and more! You can also walk to the surf break and the area of the property leading to the beach is gorgeous. Unfortunately we had some of the worst weather imaginable so couldn't experience the area to the fullest, but the beautiful property made it enjoyable nonetheless! Thanks for everything!

This is a fantastic property. It is secluded and is right on the beach with its own beach area with table hammocks etc. Very modern and well kitted out. Pool was clean and a good size. The property is located on the outskirts of Santa Teresa and a taxi is generally required which is organised by the property rep. That was the only gripe we had that it costs about $20 each way. For such a short distance it felt too much and a bit of a rip off. However don’t be put off by that just figure into your budget. There are 4 staff who tend this property. Security person overnight, who also ensures the critters such as racoons stay clear. The property rep deals with whatever you need locally, the Wester tends the gardens and around during the day, and Julia the cleaning and bedrooms. They were all brilliant. A word about the wildlife. Monkeys pass by frequently and you hear them. Lots of birds and iguanas, and the racoons do visit so don’t leave food around. The sea is very rough at the property so be careful. It is quiet but that makes it special. Santa Teresa is a surfing village and has an untarmac’d dusty road. Good restaurants and not developed. We went fishing arranged by Lucy, and was $320 for 4 hours with a boat for 6 all to ourselves. This property was worth every £ $ or whatever currency you earn your living with.

From the moment we stepped on the property we fell in love. The home and pool were perfect and just steps from the beach. Between the house and the beach there’s an outdoor space with a beach breeze that’s shaded by trees. This is the perfect spot to relax in the hammocks, take a yoga class, or simply watch the (very well behaved) monkeys that visit daily. We also explored the tide pools in front of the house and took a short walk down the beach to Florblanca and Rocamar! Above all, the house staff was nothing short of amazing. Lucy helped us coordinate so many activities and Wester, Julia, Francisco, Olman, and Sara were so much fun to see and chat with every day. We will be back!

An incredible property for a family vacation. My wife and had visited Santa Teresa several years ago and decide to bring our 3 boys (16, 14, 11). The home itself was perfect both in design and location. Direct access to the beach and just far enough away from main st Santa Teresa to feel very private. Management was spot on. Always checking but not overly intrusive. There was a grounds person at the property 24 hours and daily cleaning service. Thanks for a memorable family vacation. Hope to be back soon!

Every detail of our experience was perfect. The house was stunning and lended to both fun and relaxation for our whole group. The location right on the beach allowed us to spend mornings, afternoons, and sunsets exploring and enjoying the beauty of the best spot in Santa Teresa. Each staff member added to our trip in special ways, anticipating our needs and making every detail easy and nice. We have deep gratitude for a phenomenal rental and all you did, friends, to exceed our hopes for a week of family fun and restoration. Thank you for everything!

We very much enjoyed our stay, initially worried about the outdoor kitchen, but turned out to be nice. There is not a useable laundry as noted, but they will do your laundry for you for $10 per load. The communication with owner and manager is excellent and they are extremely knowledgable and nice. The house manager(s) were beyond responsive and sometimes answered questions so quickly it was like they were sitting there waiting for our question. They arranged a few trips and rides which were great. This is a cool place and I would stay again.

Perfect beach location.

My family and I loved staying at this beachfront property. From poolside breakfast cooked on the outdoor kitchen to the evening sunsets on the beach serenaded by the howler monkeys, everything was perfect. Alejandra arranged for every outing and meal that we wanted. Surf lessons with Cesar were the best I have ever taken. Marta kept everything clean and tidy and the day and evening staff ensured safety and assisted with any technical questions (like opening coconuts!). Great location to reduce stress and get away from it. Restaurants serve amazing food and locals are all so kind! Would love to visit again.

I would highly recommend it to anybody planning on a trip to Santa Teresa.

The home and location are even better than the photos; new, modern, comfortable, very private. The staff is incredible. They arranged everything: our charter flight from San Jose, rent car, zip line and fishing excursions, delivered waters/beer and wine that we ordered daily; arranged the chefs to prepare incredible meals (an absolute must—the chefs really made the trip unforgettable). They also built an 8’ tall beach bonfire for us our final evening. WiFi worked perfectly as did the AC in the rooms. Literally steps from the beautiful and uncrowded beach. Daily housekeeping service was excellent. Pricing was very fair for all items mentioned. Rooms and showers were new, modern and comfortable. Thank you Ugho, Alejandra (the best concierge ever), Rene, Francisco, Joanna, Jane and all the team. We will see you again!

The house is amazing and the location is pretty much perfect, remote enough to be private & quiet but not too far from the town. We mostly cooked for ourselves at the house (the nearest market is a very short drive away) but occasionally ate at nearby restaurants following great recommendations from Carmen. The rock pools are literally feet from the house and the main beach is just a few minutes walk away. A little further (30 mins walk) is Hermosa, with yet another great beach with places to eat and relax along the way. Surfing is obviously the focus of the area but we were just happy to relax, swim and enjoy the amazing weather.

Would highly recommend this home for vacation. Support staff was amazing, including concierge, cleaning, site maintenance and security. Home is private with great beach location.

Four of us stayed at this house in Santa Teresa Beach for six nights in January 2019. What a great time we had! The location is just about perfect, steps from an uncrowded beach shared with Florblanca, the best hotel/resort on the Nicoya peninsula, and a five minute walk along the water from Playa Santa Teresa, the legendary white sand beach with perfect surfing waves. We ate twice in the resort restaurant -- convenient and delicious for a high-end dining experience. The house, built in 2015, is so elegant and thoughtfully designed. We had everything we needed and nothing that we did not. The pictures are very accurate, although they tend to make the house look a bit more expansive than it is. It's cozy. But what set this place apart was the people: we saw our Concierge, Carmen, every day, and she could not have been more helpful. Rene, the daytime handyman, was always ready to help us with whatever we needed. The cleaner was there every day as well, and Francesco, the night watchman, kept us secure from dusk til dawn. Carmen arranged inhouse chef service 2-3 meals per day -- incredible tasting, healthy food, and good value compared to local restaurants. We took surfing lessons daily, and three of us tried scuba diving as well. Everyone was so helpful, welcoming and friendly. Just one note -- it's a cash economy and ATM service is spotty, so figure out a way to safely bring plenty of US$. We met one of the owners our last day, and she was as welcoming as her home. With 15 years of experience in Santa Teresa, the owners were able to anticipate our needs even before they occurred to us. There's simply nothing not to like about this experience. Santa Teresa is a bit hard to get to, but that's the point. Everyone who is there, host or guest, shares a sense of adventure and is looking for a non-typical experience (if you can't abide the occasional internet outages or a lizard in your bathroom, stick with Florida). These are very good people in a very, very good place. Pura Vida.

Our stay in Santa Teresa was truly amazing. We love finding remote, special locations and this lovely home was fantastic in every way. The house is modern, comfortable and well appointed and equipped. Carmen the concierge could not have been more helpful. She made our stay effortless - providing information from where to eat, where to surf... and helped us book ziplining, private chef services, massages and more. Thank you Carmen for all of your help!! Norman the dinner chef and the wonderful mother/daughter team who cooked us breakfast were truly phenomenal! We loved our time in Santa Teresa and hope that we are able to come back to this special house in the future. Thank you Cody and Ugo!
