Es gibt vier Schlafzimmer, darunter zwei Master-Suiten, beide mit Kingsize-Betten und kompletten Bädern. Die Master-Suite im Erdgeschoss bietet direkten Zugang zu Ihrem eigenen privaten Sitzbereich auf der Achterterrasse mit Blick auf den See und lädt Sie zum ersten Kaffee des Tages ein. Zusätzlich zu den Suiten, gibt es zwei weitere Schlafzimmer, eines mit einem Doppelbett und das andere mit vier Einzelbetten, die den Zugang zu den Häusern dritten vollen Badezimmer auf der oberen Ebene teilen. We had the best time this past week in Ludington. Our house had amazing views of Lake Michigan and plenty of room for our whole family. We can’t wait to visit again.

We are a group of 3 middle-aged adult sibling and spouses/significant others, no kids.
We enjoyed being 10 minutes from everything in downtown Ludington, yet far enough away to feel private and at a "get-away".
The owners are great to communicate with and made good on all they advertised. We all felt it was clean, very comfortable, well-appointed throughout, beautiful yet casual.
When not in town we like to hang out and socialize. The comfortable couches, large dining table, spacious, cobweb-free waterfront porch and of course the large firepit gave us plenty of options to chill and chat. There is also nook-spaces to have a little solitude or private time.
Lake Michigan provided a beautiful scene all day and night. Watching boats, the local ferry to Wisconsin (Badger), ships, ducks and gulls, gorgeous sunsets and morning fog, and even an awe-inspiring lightning show one evening. Even the wildlife was great. We had a couple deer mosey through the backyard early one morning and dozens of dragonflies buzzing around the backyard eating what few mosquitoes existed during the afternoon.
We travel a lot and are ones who will say when something is bad or not up to our standards. Eminence exceeded our standards and made our family gathering perfect in all the ways a location can.
We all highly recommend it.

Property had a ring camera on the back porch that was not disclosed to us beforehand. The camera made noise every time we passed it saying we were on camera. Disappointing because we mostly hung out in the backyard and now we know we may have been watched the whole time. Hosts admitted to us after the fact that they were unaware the camera's notifications were turned on.
Hosts also charged us $50 after the fact an additional tip for their cleaner on top of the cleaning fee paid at the time of booking.

From the moment we opened the front door we were all delighted with this beautiful home! Every room is welcoming and decorated to give a cozy feel. It was very clean and well stocked with all we needed. It was so peaceful to sit on the softly lit back porch in the evening or around the fire pit overlooking Lake Michigan from the bluff. There were 10 of us in our family and we liked having plenty of room and tables for games inside and out.
The location is perfect, and we visited Ludington, Pentwater and Hart which were all nearby. Heidi is a wonderful host and got right back to us with any questions. We all loved our stay at Eminence and hope to come back again!!

Eminence is a gorgeous, beautifully decorated, well appointed and clean home with a very welcoming feel! Heidi is an excellent communicator who responds kindly and quickly to any questions you may have! The Meylan family’s property has amazing views of Lake Michigan! We spotted the Badger coming in and going out several times! Over our numerous trips to Ludington we have taken just about every cruise the Badger has to offer and enjoyed all! Viewing the fireworks from the Badger is very fun experience!
Our favorite places to eat in Ludington are Stix and Jamesport Brewing! We would recommend going on the earlier side of meal time, especially if you have young children with you, as both places can get quite busy…at least that was true over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

From the moment we walked in the door we were wowed. The property was amazing and felt like home. The views from the back porch were so beautiful. We spent much of time sitting on the porch, watching sunrises, enjoying mid day sunshine and watching the sun fall into the sparkling lake. It was a close distance to town which was convenient. The owners were easy to communicate with and have a gem in this property.

The property is the perfect oasis with the most stunning views of Lake Michigan up on the bluff. Heidi is very communicative and they want their guests to feel right at home. The beach access is about a mile down the street, the neighborhood is small and was quiet during our stay. I loved this property so much that I booked another trip to this home before I even left!

The property has amazing view of lake michigan. Clean and super cozy location. Spent a weekend with family and kids and eveything was perfect. Host is super quick to respond if needed. Plenty of space to spend great quality time with fanily. Will def visit again.

I think this was the fourth time we’ve visited and we are never disappointed. The house is immaculate and the views are beautiful. If you need something to do, restaurants and activities are a short drive into town. My kids (8 and 11) love staying here and list Eminence as one of their favorite places. Winter is a special time to visit because it’s so peaceful and relaxing with snow flurries, the lake, and visits from deer… it almost feels a little magical. Also… the owners always add extra touches. I was obsessed with the goat milk bar soap this time. Can’t recommend this house enough!

We had a wonderful week! There were 6 adults in our group. We were all very comfortable. Each couple had our own room along with our own bathroom. The view is breathtaking! The house was decorated beautifully and the furnishings were very comfortable. It would be a great set up for families with kids. The basement has a ping pong table and seating. We did a couple trip to view the beautiful colors. Would love to return!

This was our second stay at Eminence and we just reserved our third! The home is beautiful and very comfortable. It has everything you need for a great stay. I really appreciated the dishes to put our leftovers in! Little things like that mean a lot! Rooms and beds are cozy and all the personal touches such as soap and good TP in every bathroom did not go unnoticed. The view from the back porch is amazing. Every night we would sit in the chairs and enjoy the Lake Michigan sunset. The beach is a mile away so it was perfect! I highly recommend this vacation home. You will not be disappointed. Heidi is an awesome host and responds quickly.

My husband and our 17 and 20 year old daughters spent 3 wonderful days here with my in laws and my husband's brother his wife and their adult daughter. We could not have picked or found a more charming and perfect place to stay! From pulling up to the house, to stepping through the front door, and then seeing that view from all of the perfect places to perch and soak it in from the backyard...we were all utterly enamored with this house. My 84 year old father in law kept proclaiming that it was the best place that we have rented together as a family...and there have been quite a few! We were charmed by the lovely decorating, all of the thoughtful touches, and the perfection of the view of the lake. Sadly, our stay was during a string of foggy and hazy days. Given the opportunity to travel to this area again...we would love to stay here again. If you are planning a visit to Ludington...stay here! We couldn't have been happier with this property, and had a wonderful family vacation there! The house is so lovely and well decorated, and had everything we needed. The view is stunning, and can be appreciated from all of the bedrooms and main rooms of the house.
Heidi was lovely to work with and very responsive to communications. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we would love to return sometime soon.

We just spent a truly amazing week at this house in Ludington--which was one of the cleanest houses we've rented--thank you Katie! And Heidi immediately responded to any question we had--thank you Heidi! The location was great--just about 5 minutes outside Ludington and only a mile from the closest beach. We were also only about 15 minutes from Hamlin Lake--which was MUCH warmer than Lake Michigan. However, the view of Lake Michigan, the sunset and the SS Badger Ferry was something we looked forward to seeing every evening from the lovely back porch/fire pit. We went sand dune riding in Silver Lake, rented a pontoon boat on Hamlin Lake--hung out at the sand dunes--and there are some really wonderful breweries in Ludington/Silver Lake/Manistee. It was just a terrific house and place to reconnect with our immediate family members. We will definitely return.

This house was even better than the pictures! So comfortable and beautiful! We enjoyed all the little special touches as well as the firepit and the gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. Our teens played ping pong and Uno and told stories around the firepit. Thank you for sharing this house with us!

Great home with a large kitchen, comfortable beds and a beautiful lake view. Love the first floor master bedroom. Just be aware that the main place to work remotely is the big dining room table. There aren't any other desks or tables in the house.

The kitchen, dining area and TV conversation room kept us all close by with a downstairs area for the two teenagers to use when they needed their space. Besides it being roomy yet cozy the view from these rooms are spectacular! We got to enjoy the most colorful sunsets, a brilliant moon accompanied by Jupiter and a blue, emerald green Lake Michigan. All this from inside, it was a bit too chilly for us to sit outside during the evening. Even though we stayed for just a few days it felt like our home on the lake the moment we entered!

Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at! Highly recommend! Couldn’t have been better. Beautiful accommodations right on Lake Michigan. Enjoyed the abundant wildlife of thousands of Monarch butterflies making their south migration, daily visits from a family of deer, squirrels, foxes, an Eagle, etc! Very quiet and very clean. We rented Eminence during our wedding weekend in Ludington. Our family was able to grill and enjoy a bonfire, myself and the bridesmaids had our photographs taken in front of the stunning view of Lake Michigan in the backyard. The house itself is very well maintained and the aesthetic is perfect for a lakeside luxury stay. Everything in the house is updated and we had all the kitchen equipment we needed. Heidi was very communicative and available for any needs. It was a dream to be able to stay here, thank you to Heidi and Wayne for sharing your home with us!! We will surely be back and might even be an anniversary tradition!

It’s all about the view!
I stayed at Eminence with my husband , two sisters and their spouses. The view is so wonderful . We spent so much time on the patio and around the fire pit . The house is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. The surrounding area (little drive ) was fun . We went hiking , kayaking , shopping , walked to two light houses, etc. The beaches in the area were beautiful and quiet . But we always wanted to get back to the sunset , patio, and fire pit!

Perfect Family Vacation Home
We had a wonderful week at this home. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated and big enough for 3 families. The view is absolutely gorgeous. Most nights we made dinner instead of going out because we didn't want to miss out on the beautiful view or sunset. We saw deer and a bald eagle right in the backyard. There is so much do in the area.. We spent 2 days in Ludington State Park hiking and relaxing at the beach. We took day trips to Silver Lake Sand Dunes and Pentwater. We went to MI Adventure for the day too. We rented a boat on Hamlin Lake and got ice cream at House of Flavors. Everything was perfect. You won't regret staying in this home.

Fabulous property!
Our family has a tradition of renting a home on Lake Michigan in the summer. This year, we were privileged to rent from Wayne and Heidi. Their home is well appointed, with a wonderful view of Lake Michigan from virtually every room. We enjoyed every minute, and hope we are able to stay there again in future years!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Eminence! The house is absolutely beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. The lake views are gorgeous! Three generations of my family came together from Michigan, South Carolina, and the Netherlands, and we had a lovely time talking, walking in the parks, and sharing meals. The kitchen has everything you need, whether you are cooking or bringing in prepared food. The porch overlooking the lake, even in May, is a lovely place to dine. Sleeping arrangements are best for 8 or 9 adults or 6 adults and 2-5 children. (We had 7 adults, but 2 needed separate bedrooms.) The house is situated so that you are unaware of neighbors, whether you are indoors or on the lakeside. And the sunsets were incomparable!
