very clean and comfortable

Lovely rooms converted to a high standard in a little gated alley with cctv. It’s near the main center of Lamezia. Breakfast is a coffee and croissant at a local cafe. Phoned the owner on arrival and got the daughter who arrived 10 minutes later to show me around and hand over the keys. Both speak good English. Hot water for the shower and good wi-fi, Tv with over 150 Italian channels. Great ice-cream shop near by and good restaurants available in the evening, less choice at lunch time.

It’s hard to quibble given the price. No real windows, one looked into a small court yard. A chair in the bathroom would be nice. There is a fridge, but no cups, or glasses. I guess a kettle would have been nice, but perhaps the owners worry about guests walking awaits these at the end of their stay. Can be a bit of noise from exuberant neighbours expressing themselves. No problem getting a good nights sleep and nothing much happens before 10am. Shops close in the afternoon from lunchtime to a boy 4pm.

Delightful owner, excellent location.

Nothing to dislike, although there were a few hiccoughs over arrival. Make sure to check contacts before getting there.
