We spent Thanksgiving week here and made lots of memories. The condo was perfect for our family. If you are looking for high-end, keep looking. If you are looking for clean, comfortable, affordable lodging this is it. The walk to the beach is a little longer than listed. It's about .3 mile to the beach. A little too far for my elderly mom. But we were able to drive and drop her off close by. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived Saturday evening after a 15 hr drive from Indianapolis. The first thing we noticed was the broken pull out couch. We emailed the manager who promptly sent out a maintenance guy. We told him it wasn’t a big deal that we weren’t planning on using it and that the air mattress would be fine. He left we then noticed a horrible stench throughout the condo. We thought it was the garbage disposal which it was smelling quite a bit with rotten food. Then my son checked a closet in the guest bedroom and noticed a water spot in ceiling and a water mark on the shelf. Not sure where the leak came from but the smell was awful. My wife started to look through dressers to put clothes in but they were already full of other peoples clothes. At this point, I sent another message to the owner and got no reply. My wife went to the store and bought some air freshener to help with the smell but that didn’t help. We then started noticing broken appliances such as only 1 burner working on stove. Dishwasher not screwed in so when you pulled door the unit almost falls out. My wife emailed all the concerns with no reply. We didn’t want to ruin our vacation so we decided to just go with it. Then on Monday they decided to do a complete remodel of the Unit above us so for the rest of the stay we heard sawing and hammering throughout the day. Luckily my daughters friends family booked a VRBO in same complex at 4 B which was perfect. Running out of characters for full review but it was a bad exp

This was very comfortable and it was a 2 block walk to the beach we had the pool to ourselves.

It was a perfect spot, that I plan to bring my family back to. It was a short walk to the beach. I took me roughly 5min to walk from the door of condo, to my feet in the sand.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay. We planned to sleep in separate rooms, but ended up sharing the primary due to the smaller bed being uncomfortable. The unit has a great location with excellent access to the beach, and the pool is nice. However, we had a lot of issues during our stay. The unit was not when we arrived. The host sent out a crew to clean immediately, but it interrupted out stay. Once we settled in, we noticed many quirks. The fridge was set to such a low temp it froze our food. The knob fell off the sink in the smaller bathroom each time I used it. The lining of the kitchen counter has peeled off and caught on our clothes as we walked by. I couldn't find a baking sheet when I wanted to cook. Overall, I think the unit could use some simple repairs and the kitchen could be stocked better with essentials.

It had everything we needed. My son enjoyed the pool right out the back door. Plenty of room. Perfect communication with host. Enjoyed our stay.

The entire family enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfy, kitchen had everything you could possibly need to feel like home. Nice, quiet community located a short walk from the beach and close to many malls and a variety of dining options.

Had some issues with the air conditioner when we got there but was able to communicate effectively with property host to get it up and running! The location was perfect and close to most everything! I would recommend staying here to anyone!! Thanks for allowing us to stay here Shaun!

Very nice, clean and fully furnished!

So we arrived and someone was in the unit, we came all the way from Ohio. The lady in the room we had booked called the owner and he apologized and within 5 minutes he had us in another unit and it was fabulous. I understand things happen, VRBO wasn’t supposed to have that room they double booked available but they did and again, the owner was so fantastic and he had us set up in minutes. We had an amazing time!!! We definitely recommend this place to anyone and very family friendly. ❤️

Horrible communication from host Kitchen sink flooded the place he never sent someone to fix it AC unit when out due to a dirty filter so sat in the condo with it being 81 degrees for 4 hours I had to beg the owner to respond and when he did he was nasty about HIS mistakes.. Fridge needs a new filter Had to leave early and get a refund

The location was perfect and the place was super cute. The beds and towels were very clean but the floor was not. Good for the price.

Property is in great location. However disappointed due to a few amenities not functioning. Dryer did not work, messaged host and didn’t receive feedback. Both TVs in both bedrooms were not working. Other than this, the property was suitable for us.

The property was just as described. Close to the beach and peaceful. The pool was super close to the Condo. Communication with Shaun was spot on. I would recommend the condo and look forward to coming back.

This condo was perfect for us. Location is perfect as well. Walking distant to the beach and Pompano Joe’s.

2nd time coming here and this time brought along my sister and her family as well. There is a matching condo in the same complex with the same owners so we rented both. Pool is right outside, beach is a short walk away. Can't beat it for the price!

Good location clean and nice places but air conditioner didn't work well and for 2 day it didn't work at all

The place has some flaws, the furniture is very run down. We stay at a lot of VRBO's and they usually have a lot of extras but this one does not. if you need a place to rest and not staying long I would recommend but if staying for a week or longer I would look for extras. Many broken things but it was good for our quick trip there for my family of 4.

It’s a great location for a good price, and a last minute booking . The unit had some flaws, not necessarily bad given the price, but heads up- lack of cooking utensils like pan and overwear making it impossible to cook your own food. I bought a pan and donated after setting the smoke alarm off because of old crusty pan. No accessible internet despite contacting the owner. No laundry detergent, bring your own! You are given 1 toilet paper roll per bathroom. People upstairs come home at 1am (I’m a light sleeper). Aside from that good price/cheaper than a hotel room. Only stay there in the future if I was desperate.

We were in Destin for a soccer tournament and needed a convenient place with the comforts of home - this place fit the bill! There were some issues with the stove eyes not being connected but we didn't bother to contact the owner because we ate a lot of meals out or on the go. The owner was super responsive when I contacted him and great to work with, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at one of their properties again.

Checkin is at 3 PM which worked for our family, but honestly there is no reason for it to be so late especially if the place isn't even clean! Part of our family stayed at this place, and the remainder stayed next door at 15B with NO COMPLAINTS. Their place was cheaper, cleanly, updated, and came with so many extras, even basic necessities for their whole stay! I would never stay here again!We didn't even have toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc (literally just cheap basics!) Also the microwave half-assed worked, we could only get the minute button to work half of the time and that was it! We didn't even attempt the stove because it was so dated! We tried to use the washer and dryer since the white towels had hair and stains on them, but there was nothing to wash with so we went to buy our own stuff and came back to find that the washer and dryer worked horrible and had to use the other rentals! The whole place looked and felt dirty as if it had never been cleaned. I also found at least 3 COCKROACHES! We took photos because we tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but every corner we turned we found more wrong!The master bath was dirty and had peoples hair and bugs in the tub/shower. there were chips missing from the toilet seats in both bathrooms, the spare bathroom shower hardly worked and had more water shooting from a strange hole and the bath part than the actual shower head. This place was supposed to room at least 4 people and it hardly did that! the top bunk bed was not accessible and very unsafe to climb with the unstable rickety ladder! Mirrors weren't properly hung in this place and were just sitting on the floor! Only 2 mirrors in the whole place which was weird! The couch was also supposed to be a bed but they had no sheets for it or anything! we found one comforter and it had 3 giant holes in it and was very dirty! I would be embarrassed to own this place!Also there was no toilet paper roll hanger in the master! Thats how cheap they went on this place! Even the mattress, blankets, and pillows were very cheap and THIN! Even the closet doors and cabinets didn't line up and I was scared they would fall and kill my kid at any second! 2 of our family members ended up staying at our other rental it was so bad! those of us that stayed wanted to get a hotel!

We stayed at this little home away from home back in 2019 and enjoyed it so much, we decided to stay again this year. Once again, we had a great stay! We did have an issue with the main lock but Shaun was right on the phone with us to help address the concern. It was 100% user error 😂 and we got it figured out. Also when we tried to use the pull out couch is appears that previous guests used it as a trampoline and it was completely unusable for our stay. No biggie though, my daughter slept nice and sound on just the couch itself. This year we noticed there were no starter dishwasher tabs and what not but that was not an issue for us as we didn’t use the dishwasher. However, we did get some basic supplies like dish soap, laundry soap, extra TP, garbage bags, plastic silverware, plastic cups, and some little hair ties we left for the next visitors. We will definable staying with Shaun again in the future. We love the size of the home for our family and the location is perfect. Not too far from everything in Destin (about 10-15 either way you go). Thank you Shaun and family for allowing us the opportunity to use your home away from home again this year. We had an amazing vacation.

We arrived the TV cable box in bunk bed room does not work texted owner never responded to me the stove top only 3 of four burners works the only big burner does not work properly would have texted owner about issue but didn’t respond back from the first message so why bother the living room tv needs upgraded picture quality was poor definitely needs new kitchenware might bring your own unless they replace mainly just their skillets needs replacement other than that location was great easy walk to beach easy access in and out would stay again if upgrading is completed for sure
