What a beautiful place to stay! Our hosts were gracious and the place was exceptionally clean. Very close to J Peak. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife, our two dogs, and I recently enjoyed a wonderful week at the Johnson Farm and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The first thing that struck us was the thoughtful layout of the space above the stable. It was not only spacious but also incredibly well-organized, making it easy for all four of us to settle in comfortably. The owners have done an excellent job in creating a cozy atmosphere, and the welcome basket was much appreciated after our long drive. We were treated to picturesque vistas of rolling hills and serene landscapes that provided the perfect backdrop for our morning coffee and evening stargazing. It felt like a slice of heaven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. For dog owners like us, this place was a paradise. The abundance of local trails for dog walks was a real treat for our furry companions. They had a blast exploring the nearby paths and fields, and it made our stay even more enjoyable knowing they were having a great time too.

My wife & I enjoyed a lovely few days staying at Kyle's barn on a beautiful property in the Berkshires. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of the barn and was very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked and they very kindly provided us with a bunch of snacks as well as toys and treats for our 2 dogs! It's only 15-20 minutes from both Williamstown and Pittsfield so there is plenty to do close by, but it is in a quiet area so it's easy to simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. We hope to get a chance to come back and visit before too long.

I made a last minute reservation for my 2 week stay. The process was easy ans my stay was perfect! The hosts are kind, funny, caring and generous; the Barn is spotless, comfortable, well stocked and convenient; the 4 horses are delightful if not down right funny; every wanted/needed service was accessible; and the farm is just gorgeous. The peace, quiet and beauty of the farm made for a perfect relaxation spot. I will coordinate future stays around availabilty of this rental. Thank you!

The rental was just what my wife and I were looking for. Comfy and spacious.

When I told my daughter we would be staying above a horse barn when I brought our dog to visit her at WIlliams she raised her eyebrows at me. I am pretty horsey but she must have had visions of a blanket on a bale of hay in the loft. Our stay was basically the opposite of that! The apartment was delightful: warm, cozy, quiet with views over the paddocks on one side and the mountains on the other. The horses were friendly, charming and completely unfazed by our dog. The hosts were responsive and left fixings for s'mores and plenty of human and dog treats for snacking emergencies. Our dog carries her new stuffed cow everywhere. We highly recommend this rental!

Immaculate apartment with stunning views of the beautiful Berkshire countryside. Fun to be above the ponies when we all went to sleep at night! Easy drive to the Clark, MassMoCA, and the Hancock Shaker Village. Owners in a separate residence on the property, very responsive.

We enjoyed our 8 days stay so much, we wished it didn't end so soon. Kyle and Talitha are very caring and helpful hosts. Their place is super clean, cozy and just simply perfect. We were really touched by the personalized welcome basket that was left for us when we arrived. We enjoyed our chats with the hosts and interactions with their sweet horses. We loved hikes in the surrounding woods and walks with our dog on their beautiful and peaceful property. 15 minutes trip to The Clark Museum of Art was unexpected and huge bonus !!! Highly recommended. We will definitely come back to spend our next vacation in this wonderful place!

Quaint country style getaway. Hosts were responsive, kind, and hospitable.

The space and location was perfect to explore the Berkshires. Our dog was welcomed with treats and his new favorite toy. The gift basket waiting for us was incredibly generous. The horses on the property created the picture postcard New England scene. The space was ideal, spacious, clean with a great deck off the back. We'd definitely come back again. The listing was spot on and the communication was ideal.

I travel with my very active Golden Retriever, and Kyle & Talitha’s place was ideal for us. They thought of everything, so we had everything we needed and more. They are friendly, generous with their lovely property, and we couldn’t have had a more suitable place to enjoy our time in the Berkshires. We want to come back!

I have annually visited the area for well over a decade. This was our first visit to the Johnson family’s farm. Kyle and Talitha were par none the best host I’ve stayed with in all of the years. They provided over and above for a rental from a welcome basket, dog toys and treats, all the way to gifts for my kids. Very clean, beautiful property, highly recommended.

Quiet and clean with all amenities needed

Minutes away from the slopes with awesome daytime and nightly views of the mountain. Property is clean and well stocked. Host is incredibly responsive. Very kind to leave my pups and us a welcome gift upon arrival!

Our family of four had a great stay! The girls loved seeing the horses at the farm and sledding on the giant hill. The hosts are terrific - from a welcome gift basket to being very responsive they contributed to our great experience. The property itself has a nice kitchen with everything you need. The location is very convenient to skiing at Jiminy Peak. We'd highly recommend this property all around.

What a great getaway from city life!! The horses are so adorable! The Barn has amazing views of the surrounding mountains and of the horse farm. I was able to check out Bash Bish Falls and My. Greylock while there, perfect spots as the leaves changed colors. Perfect stay!

We loved our time here. Everything you could of needed was available, The place was immaculate and the owners very accommodating and available if needed. A special mention to the very thoughtful welcome basket that made our arrival very special, especially for our pup. Highly recommend!

The property was great - immaculate, lovely view, beautiful property, fun to have the horses right there. It's so hard to find a nice spot that allows children AND dogs, and this fit the bill. With two small kids, we played in the yard, pet the horses, tried the Jiminy Peak Mountain Adventure Park (which was a huge kid hit), went for a horseback ride at a nearby stable, etc. Great location for all of that. Kyle was a lovely, helpful host, and the highlight was a great big gift basket he left, with plenty of food treats for all of us, two big teddy bears for the kids (one was promptly named "Mr. Snuffles" and the other was named "Jiminy"), and a treat for our dog. SO nice!

The barn was truly wonderful in every way. It was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The bed was super comfortable, the shower and bathroom were great, and the washer and dryer were very handy. Everything was spotless and exceptionally welcoming when we arrived. Being close to the horses was a special treat, and the deck was a lovely, relaxing space. It was also a perfect location from which to explore the Berkshires, with great proximity to Williamstown, farmstands, and amazing hiking trails, and close enough to Southern Berkshire locations for easy exploration. Kyle and Talitha were wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We can't say enough good things about this lovely property and look forward to returning!

Kyle and his wife were very pleasant and left us a basket of snacks and a thoughtful gift for our daughter to welcome us. The renovated barn was very spacious and we loved being so close to the horses. The fire pit and makings for s'mores were perfect to relax after a busy day. Very convenient as well. Hope to go back to visit again!

Kyle and his family are incredible hosts. The property is secluded on the side of Jiminy Peak. You are surrounded by so much natural beauty, it was really hard for us to leave and go back to New York City. The house was spotless and Kyle and his family made sure we had everything we needed for our week-long stay. Highly, Highly recommend! We can't wait to go back!!

Gorgeous views in this barn turned vacation perfect for a single family. The hosts were very warm and helpful, welcomed us with a big basket of goodies and stuffed ponies for my boys and treats and toy fir my pup! Everyone was thrilled. We fed the ponies, relaxed in the beautiful deck, made s’mores in the fire pit! A lovely and relaxing vacation getaway. Will definitely be back for more!

Kyle went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Everything was immaculate and as described. They not only provide the ingredients for making s’mores, they also left a very thoughtful basket of treats for us upon arrival. We enjoyed it so much we re-booked for a weekend in the fall. We took advantage of the kitchen's abundant counter space and large open floor plan. Although 1000 sq ft, there was more than enough room for our family of 4 to spread out and be comfortable. It's difficult at times to find places that perfectly cater to dogs and younger children, but Kyle's and Talitha's place fit the bill for both. Our dog had room to roam and play. The children got a kick out of the little horses, the firepit and smores, sleeping on a pullout, the new teddies, and building an epic cushion fort. The view and location couldn't be better - it's right between Williamstown and Pittsfield, so you have the best of both towns just minutes down the road. I can't recommend this stay enough, nor thank and commend Kyle and Talitha sufficiently for a job truly well-done. We felt at home throughout our entire stay.

Our family was able to have a nice relaxing long weekend and escape from the city. The property was great - especially the cleanliness and hospitality! Our 1yo and dog knew it was going to be a great weekend when they saw their treats in the gift basket. The horses were quite friendly too! We can’t wait to go back!

Excellent short or long term rental. Excellent condition, everything we needed was available. Beautiful vistas of the local area. The horses on the property were fun to watch. The Johnsons were truly outstanding hosts, very approachable, very accommodating. We enjoyed our summer very much, and would definitely come back.
