Das Hotel liegt 15 Minuten von der Innenstadt von Chattanooga entfernt auf einem 4 Hektar großen Grundstück mit Pool am North Chickamauga Creek. Wir sind über den Bach von The Greeway Farm mit einem 180 Hektar großen Stadtpark am North Chickamauga Creek. Der Park verfügt über 10 km Wander-, Lauf-, Wander- und Radwege. Es gibt drei Kanuzugangspunkte. Wir sind in der Nähe von Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Kanufahren, Angeln und Aktivitäten in der Innenstadt von Chattanooga. Es gibt Golfplätze in der Umgebung. Es gibt Flachbildfernseher in allen Schlafzimmern, einen in der Höhle und einen im Mehrzweckraum. Es gibt einen Ellipsentrainer im Mehrzweckraum und einige leichte Spiele, Bücher und einige DVDs. WiFi ist vorhanden. Große Waschküche mit neuer Waschmaschine / Trockner. Der Pool ist 18x36.(Pool ist vom 1. Oktober bis 15. Mai geschlossen). Zwei Tische mit Sonnenschirmen, Holzkohlegrill, Liegestühlen und anderen Gartenmöbeln. Neben dem Pool befindet sich eine halbe Badewanne auf der Veranda. Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Basketball Ziel auf der Einfahrt. Sie können durch die Scheune nach Chickamauga Creek gehen. Sie können Ihre Ausrüstung zum Fischen mitnehmen oder Ihr eigenes Kanu oder Kajak mitnehmen. In der Auffahrt können Sie ein 25-Fuß-Boot parken, wenn Sie den See Chickamauga genießen oder an einem der zahlreichen Angelwettbewerbe teilnehmen möchten. Es gibt eine kleine Terrasse mit Blick auf Bach. Alles, was Sie mitbringen müssen, sind Ihre Kleidung und Toilettenartikel. Wir hoffen, Sie respektieren und behandeln unser Zuhause als Ihr eigenes. Loved the stay it was souch a nice place great location and I loved all the little things that the host took the time to do like the beach towels ready outside by the pool and the flats that my kids loved fully stocked kitchen the back fire pit was perfect for s'mores . The host was very helpful and even took the time to make sure we made it home alright.... I would recommend staying at this wonderful house

The home is an older home with lots of room for everyone to spread out. The pool was great for our whole family, especially our grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped. One room had a double bed that should be upgraded to a queen, as the mattress was not the most comfortable. And the home had a fair amount of breakables, so that should be considered when booking with children. The hostess was very nice. Checking in and out were very easy. The location was very close to lots of amenities; Children’s Museum, Aquarium, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Car Museum, Clumpie’s ice cream shop, etc.

We had a great stay in Hixson! We had 5 adults and 3 children (ages 3-7). The community room was perfect for a single mom and the kiddos. The gated pool was a plus since we did have younger ones, yet there was plenty of yard to play and run. The property was secluded and quiet. The house was nice and had anything and everything you would need. No need to pack pool towels! There are plenty of games and toys for the young kids. Distance to Chattanooga was only about 15 minutes and was easy access to the highway. If I had to change anything, I would add a garbage disposal and maybe update shower heads but those are not deal breakers for us. We would stay again and Sheryl was great host!

My wife and i use VRBO on a whenever we travel. In six years this is THE BEST property we have EVER stayed at. Seven kids and two adults had the time of our life. Kids chased lightening bugs and swam on this huge property, and we never even made it to the creek.
Awesome location, home, and host. The only reason we gave them five stars is there is not an option to give more. Cant wait to come back

Our stay was wonderful. The house is extremely spacious and the backyard is big. Everything you need is in the house and available to use. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were able to spend time with family without worrying about anything.

You can tell this is a home that was loved through the years. Lots of room to spread out or gather, everything you need but clothes & food plus features you will enjoy that you cannot find easily, e.g. private pool, screened porch, lots of cooking items. We would definitely rent again!

I met my mom and siblings in Chattanooga for a long weekend and the house was a great place to hang out. We had a great time playing in the pool. It's very quiet but close to anything you need.

Our stay was fantastic and met the needs of our grandchildren ages 4 to 16, our two daughters and husband and I. The layout of the house allowed us room to spreadout and also spend wonderful time together. The pool was lovely and the boys loved fishing in the creek where they caught several kinds of fish and saw deer three different times. It was a great time.

If your looking for a place to stay with your family no need to look any further. We had plenty of space to hang as a family and plenty of space to be on our own. The home is equipped with everything we needed plus more. The outdoor space was just as lovely. Beautiful view, sitting area and a pool. The pool was perfect. The location is minutes away from the Tennessee Riverpark. The owners were very gracious, made sure everything was good when we checked in and checked out. Our family will definitely be staying here again.

This property is close to my daughter that lives in Soddy Daisy. The perfect place for us to gather. Close to so many amenities.

This property is true to its pictures and description — we loved this house! Plenty of room for people to spread out, visit, eat and play games. Beds were VERY comfortable. Having 2 ovens and refrigerators was great since we were feeding (but not housing) 15 people. Shirley isn’t kidding when she says the kitchen is stocked with pretty much anything you would need. We used the crockpot for cider and a very nice roasting pan for the ham, and there was even an electric knife for carving it. There was a great assortment of baking dishes for our casseroles. Also plenty of eating and serving utensils. The enormous yard was perfect for after dinner strolls and the kids in our group loved climbing the gigantic magnolia. The house’s proximity to the North Chickamauga Creek Greenway is another bonus. We had a couple of delightful walks there. The entrance is a very short walk from the house, but Hamill Rd is busy with no shoulder, so we drove. Shirley was a very responsive and gracious host, quick to answer my texts and questions. Here are the few negatives we found: 1) the awning over the back door is probably very welcome during the hot summer, but in the winter it blocks your view of the woods and sunset. 2) It would be nice to have a game table in the multipurpose room. We brought a card table for working puzzles and placed it there, using the kitchen table for games. 3) The only reason I gave 4 stars for location was traffic noise. As mentioned above, Hamill Rd sees a lot of traffic, and Hwy 153 is also very close. The house is well back from the road, and the noise wasn’t disruptive. Perhaps it is quieter in the warm months when the trees are leafed out. 4) The ovens appear to be original to the house (which was pleasantly nostalgic for several of us) but they performed just fine. NONE of these issues were dealbreakers for us, and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a group with 4 adults and 4 children age 5-12. The house is huge and plenty of room to spread out or to find a private place to if you need a break.
The pool is fully fenced from the rest of the yard- so, safe for little ones. Well-stocked, in every area. They even provide pool towels! Owner is very gracious and always available.

Loved this house for our family getaway!
We booked this house for our 8th annual family getaway vacation with friends and it was perfect! The house was big enough to accommodate 9 people, including 5 kids! The kids were never bored and enjoyed the pool! We loved everything about this house. And the home owner was fabulous as well. Great communication. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful place
We had a great experience staying here. The house was clean and comfortable. It accommodated all eight of just fine. The location is close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. Also the owner was always responsive if we had questions. The pool was great for the kids. We would definitely be back if we visit again!

Hixon is Wonderful
Property was excellent and the most well-stocked of any we have stayed in. My only recommendation would be to upgrate the second and third bedroom beds to larger beds. This was a great stay for our family and we would do it again in a minute. The communication was excellent and we loved our stay.

Spacious house in great location
The home was large with plenty of bathrooms for our family. It was a wonderful location in Chattanooga. Shirley was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed! Towels for the pool, lots of pots and pans and spices. It made a great landing spot for the Ironman for us!

Overall the family loved staying at this property. The pool was fantastic and all the amenities you could need were provided for you. My only minor issue was the front door was very hard to lock from the inside. Most times I never was sure if it was locked or not when we went to bed.
