Cozy with character and added extra's
We loved our stay at Little Para Cottage. The cottage and garden are beautifully maintained, it's small but felt roomy and had everything we needed for a weekend away. We were gifted a bottle of wine, and there are also coffee pods, biscuits, milk, port and dinner vouchers. (The food at the clubhouse was so good!) Out dog also loved his stay, it's so nice we could bring him and we loved the booklet of dog friendly venues. It's a bit further from town that we realised, a short drive but a good 30-35 minute walk at a decent pace. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to family & friends.

Cosy spot with a beautiful garden
This was a perfect dog friendly base for us to explore Tanunda and surrounds. A cosy little cottage with a lovely outdoor garden sitting area just a short drive (or a walk if you're feeling like some exercise) from the main shops and restaurants of Tanunda. The owners were wonderful to deal with and the inclusion of complimentary wine, Port and vouchers for local restaurants was very much appreciated.

Tanunda Weekend Getaway
Very cosy and charming little cottage, perfect for a weekend getaway to relax and recharge. Lovely garden surrounds and very close proximity to Tanunda main street, wineries and the chocolate factory. Wendy is a great host with nice little touches in the cottage including a bottle of wine, music on and friendly welcome note upon check in. We really enjoyed our stay- you will not be disappointed!

Very nice little cottage on outskirts of Tanunda, comfortable and well appointed. Host gifted wine, port, chocolate biscuits and 3 types of milk (although not Almond), thank you that was nice. Good WiFi and Smart TV but you do need your own accounts for Netflix etc so remember your login and passwords. Warm with great heating. Very helpful and generous hosts, a great place to stay.

Walking into Little Para Cottage was like walking into a friend's home. There was no way you could confuse this lovely cottage with any sort of resort or hotel suite or apartment. The cottage was impeccably clean and well stocked with a huge range of tea/coffee options and biscuits to have with it, and the full sized fridge was stocked with REAL milk, not the UHT crap you usually get. The bed was very comfy. The cottage is surrounded by a gorgeous garden with little hideaway outdoor seating, a fire pit, and a great under cover bbq and entertaining area. It's just like having a holiday home in the Barossa. Wifi was free, which always is a winner for me, and if I wanted to, I could access Netflix on their tv, which I haven't experienced anywhere I've stayed. All in all, a lovely gem of a place to stay, which I would recommend highly.

5a Para Road
Character, heritage cottage set in garden with both shelter and seating areas. Cottage air conditioning and fan enabled us to be comfortable in extreme 40+ temperatures. A welcoming and relaxing environment for our stay in the Barossa Valley. Easy communication with owner prior to travelling to Australia in time of bush fire concerns.

Gem of a property
Loved every minute of our stay in the Barossa Valley and Little Para Cottage was the perfect place to rest our heads at the end of a big day.
The cottage has absolutely everything you need plus a few extra personal touches to which makes you feel extra welcomed.
The cottage is in easy walking distance to a few wineries which is an added bonus
I highly recommend to all who are after a private cottage, something a little unique and self contained.
Thanks Wendy for making our stay enjoyable

A few days in the heart of the Barossa
We had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Little Para Cottage in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
The cottage is reasonably well equipped with most things one would want. The owner, Sue, is close by to offer help.
We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor space for our meals, as inside is somewhat dark and cool.
The cottage is walking distance from Peter Lehmann and Langmeil wineries but driving distance to shops or restaurants.
Overall we enjoyed our time and would recommend this place to others.

A real gem!
From booking to check out we were more than happy! The cottage is a cool summer get away (aircon little used as thick stone walls keep the place cool but warm in winter). We felt it was more honeymoon accomodation it was so good. The garden is beautifully kept with lots of sitting spaces depending on the time of day to make the most of shade or sun. The garden is so aromatic and peaceful. Wineries are a short walk away and the pubs walkable distance for dinner. Great place, outstanding owners, we will definitely book again!

Lovely little gem
We had a delightful stay, the little things made the place. There were dog beds ready, water for dogs on the very hot day we arrived and ice water in the fridge for us. The cottage is so cute and bed is just lovely. Surprisingly the air con worked a treat and on two 44 degrees days you needed it. Nice and close to wineries and Tunanda was just lovely, try out the ice cream shop amazing!!!

Comfy and Inviting Cottage
Our stay at little Para Cottage was a Christmas gift from our son.
He chose well!
Our lovely host presented a cosy, tastefully decorated home nestled in a tiny cottage garden. Creatively divided into several 'rooms' all with unique character, there was a retreat for every mood; enjoying a beer or vino as the BBQ sizzled, a breakfast among the herbs and hollyhocks, a morning cuppa on the verandah or a quiet drink under the stars after a day exploring all that the Barossa Valley has to offer.
The house was spotless, all crisp, fresh linen, tea, coffee, milk, condiments, water and toiletries were supplied.
The comfortable bed and pillows was appreciated, so we felt very well rested to enjoy the day ahead and there's even a few wineries within walking distance!
We will certainly arrange a return visit and are happy to recommend The Little Para Cottage as a delightful, place to base a stay in the Barossa.

Nice little cottage with all you need
We only stayed one night at Little Para Cottage, but we quite enjoyed it. It's a cute and cozy little place with comfortable seating and bedding, and a full kitchen along one wall. The garden is lovely with lots of beautiful flowering plants and a couple of seating areas. The cottage itself is somewhat dark, as there are only windows on the north side. This is not a complaint, but meant to be information. The owner's communication is flawless, as noted by another reviewer.
