The hotel is nice, location is peaceful and people are true professionals there.

We spent one night there and only negative is too high price ( Althought, I dont have any experience what you can get with almost 300eur/ night in Dubrovnik if you book somewhere else)

Amazing facilities for family vacation, Maro world was exceptional and a relief for families with kids!

Early check-in was not possible, which we understand!

I paid and then when I got they they told me the pool was closed if I had of known that before paying I would not have booked

I extremely liked: - concept & renovation as the hotel is newly constructed; - comfort of the room; - breakfast, dinner was even better, though; - beach at Valamar President; - localization.

-cleaning wasn't great: once they forgot to clean our room, despite the cleaning request sign on the door & dirty plate near the door. Cleaning ladies were there with their cart, they just "skipped" our room for a very strange reason, once they forgot to put new towels (they took the "old" once and didn't put any fresh instead; refills were not refilled/changed, so we needed to ask for shower gel. body lotion several times during our stay; nobody wiped the dust near the door, so in the end of our stay it was really dirty there. -the phone in the room (336) wasn't working properly; -not very nice lady when we were checking in. She didn't tell us anything about Valamar President beach club, which is much better & cheaper than the 2 other she mentioned (Copacabana & Coral Beach). Nobody helped us with the luggage. - pool bar wasn't working until our last day of the stay.

They didn’t give me the room what I booked. The from what I booked are not yet ready. It is ridiculous!

rooms were great and very clean. pool area was beautiful but the swim up bar wasn’t open. close to beach, but beach is public and you have to pay for lounge chairs.

a bit misleading about the ocean access. but the beach is beautiful, just not included with hotel.

I did not like the location because it was far from the beach and their pool was not build up yet, so we had to go to another hotel which was about 100 meters away from this hotel.

The location is convenient and most of the staff are friendly.

Unfortunately Valamar Tirena Hotel did not completely finish their renovation before re-opening 1 June. This is a shame as during the stay you see (and hear) the construction going on inside and outside the hotel and there are a lot of construction materials in the outside grounds which ruins the surrounding area and walk to the beach. We had booked a room with a garden view and the view was of a messy, unfinished garden with building materials so we asked to change rooms and were gratefully upgraded to a room with a sea view. The swimming pool has not yet been completed and we were only informed this upon arrival at the hotel. There was a solution that guests can use the next door’s hotel however this is inconvenient and not the same as the pool/ pool bar which is advertised. It is misleading that the hotel advertisement has not been updated with this information. There is a good variety of food at the buffet breakfast and dinner however unfortunately one of us had bad food poisoning one night having only eaten at the hotel that day. My feeling is that the hotel needs more time to finish renovation and also needs to be fully tested for guests for example the shower head in our bathroom was fixed incorrectly and the phone in the room did not work. Hopefully in a few more months they will be more in the swing of things but on this occasion it did not quite meet our expectations.

The hotel staff was very friendly and ready to help with anything.

it was a really nice stay. I hope renovation will be finished soon, and all the guets will enjoy fully their stay in the hotel
