Great hospitality very clean prompt service
Everything was perfect

I was extremely disappointed with the hotel's handling of my reservation. Despite being unable to reach the hotel due to Hurricane Beryl, they charged me the full amount for my stay. The staff showed no understanding or empathy for my situation, demonstrating a complete lack of concern for their customers. Instead, their primary focus was on securing their payment in full, regardless of the circumstances. This lack of compassion and flexibility in the face of a natural disaster was both disheartening and frustrating.

Being a small resort - everyone knew you. which was great. The staff was outstanding and elevated our stay. The rooms were great and all the small touches were so nice - including the turn dune service every night with the treats!
nothing. We drove by it the first time as there wasn’t a sign but really that’s it!
4.5
Wonderful staff and amazing food— great location to do all the inland adventures & relax in nature!
The property is lovely- however not very accessible for those with limited mobility
5.0
This hotel is very unique in that someone is available at all times through texting on whatsapp. It felt like your own private concierge as they arranged anything and everything and were super quick to respond. Every single tour, transportation, room service request is all made through the hotel and can be made through texting making it extremely easy!
The food at this resort is incredible. Both nights we dined at the restaurant had special theme nights including “bbq night” and “mayan night” which we really enjoyed.
It’s also unique because its pretty small so we didn’t see or hear others often making our stay feel very private and peaceful.
Tours and things purchased at and through the hotel are pricey but of great value. All tours and transportation are private and comfortable. You definitely spend some extra money for convenience which we value.
There were quite a few bugs that snuck into our room including a big spider but I think thats par for the course in Belize

The room was fantastic! The property was great. The staff was great. I can’t say enough good things about this gem.
I can’t say anything bad. It would be unnecessarily and extremely picky to point anything bad out.

Ambience
Poor Service, no phones in the suites, no water in the sink, toilet or shower
5.0
Lovely retreat amongst the plants and birds.
The continental breakfast left something to be desired.
3.5
Very nice resort with beautiful trees
The breakfast that was included in our package was limited to coffee or tea, juice and bread (or another option). Anything more was outpriced.
The resort is quite far from the town and either you take your dinners at the resort (limited choice) or you shall get a taxi (10 USD one way).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good. The gardens were gorgeous. Beds comfortable.
There was no hot water in the shower.
3.5
beautiful grounds. room was spacious and comfortable. loved the patio with private bath tub and shower.
the food…the chef was very disappointing. the food was tasteless. and boring. this was a let down because this is not an inexpensive property and you would expect the food to be exciting, interesting and flavorful
3.5
The garden is absolutely beautiful. Room service is super nice and the rooms are very clean and have nice touches. Good choice!
Tours are very expensive and no group tours are offered. Restaurant could have more variety or changing options.

Was pretty, elegant, sweet. Staff was nice
the quality of the cocktails at the bar were really lacking multiple days. Would highly recommend retraining
the food is not impressive as well for a rated 5 star resort. this (and bar experience) is a big part of the overall experience & stay, so would recommend reassessing that as well. it didn’t match up to other resorts.
also- maid service didn’t replace towels when dirty which was odd.

Clean, wonderfully landscaped, safe, restaurant with excellent food, quiet

The authentic breakfast was very tasty. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and overall pleasant. The locations was peaceful and unique. it was nice to have a front patio and back yard as well.

The people who work here are amazing, so friendly and so helpful!! The room was really clean, comfortable and big. The bar served great cocktails and the restaurant food was great!! Special thanks for Lorreta and the chef for the birthday cake! Legends
The included breakfast could've included more. The one thing was the 9% GST and 10% service charge that's added to everything. Meals, drinks and even the massage. So be aware when you're staying here that everything comes with an added 19%.

The staff were wonderful. Viktor was really friendly and helpful
The pizza. It tasted like frozen pizza. Everything else was really good.

The staff was excellent. Very attentive in trying to address any need that I had.
Everything was great at Ka'ana. I would definitely return.

the property is absolutely gorgeous. beautiful grounds
5.0
Beautiful, lush, boutique property. #1 was the staff.
Everyone was so kind, funny, and helpful.
The grounds were so green. The pool area was calm &
had a great view. Food at the restaurant and bar was
very good. I’m vegan and they were able to
accommodate my food needs including plant based
milks and beans made with coconut oil instead of lard.
The tortilla and black bean soup were delicious!
We did 2 tours through the hotel. They were both
private and 100% worth it. Only a little
more expensive than group tours. Highly recommend
the ruins and cave tubing and zip line.
Our shower really needed a renovation. The lever was
loose and water pressure was very low. Took a few
minutes to get warm.

What a wonderful little paradise! Small, boutique resort with beautiful rooms and gorgeous grounds. The food in the restaurant is amazing. Two bottles of water every day - nice touch. The outdoor shower is great. Our family had a wonderful time.
Little pricey but it's to be expected in Belize

I love this place. My husband met the chef, managers, and they were amazing. The staff was so awesome with my little one. Great resort but the staff was more amazing
There is nothing bad about this place

The room (especially the outside bath and shower) felt luxurious. The setting - well maintained grounds, that were beautifully lit at night.
The pool area really let down the high end feel.
There were a number of loose floor tiles and the shower cubicle had no shower. It felt like it had been neglected. There were only a few loungers on each level, so it felt crowded as soon as there were more than 4 people there.
It was disappointing that there were no coffee making facilities in the room. The only option was a $4 USD from the restaurant. Service in the restaurant was slow, despite staff outnumbering diners.

We loved our stay at Ka'ana. It's expensive, but it's worth it. The rooms are lovely and comfy, the restaurant is great, and the pool is nice. We didn't try the spa.
It's a bit outside the town of San Ignacio, so a cab is necessary to get to and from if you want to see the sights. It's still close enough that most tours will pick you up, though. Also we did an "experience dinner" one night. We chose their wine cellar dinner - I wouldn't recommend it. It's just a room with some wine, and the same dinner menu as available at the restaurant. Not worth the price ;)

The resort itself was very pretty with a hidden jungle feel - secluded from outside. Lots of foliage and birds everywhere. When we encountered staff, they were pleasant face to face. The room was spacious and had a nice view. Nicely decorated.
The staff seemed forgetful the entire time. Our requests had to be made multiple times and nobody ever checked on us when eating or drinking or elsewhere on the grounds, even when we asked. Both meals were just ok and again, once the food was dropped off we never saw our waiter again until we flagged someone down (literally got up from the table and walked around to find someone for drink refills and to check on our food). Our breakfast took almost an hour to come out (eggs and toast) and we saw 3 other couples get sat and receive their food before us; one lady even arrived, are, paid and left before our food arrived and we were the very first guests in the whole restaurant. The AC didn’t work very well even on 16° and turbo fan. The water pressure in the shower was EXTREMELY low, like barely a trickle; it would be easier to bathe in the pool.
4.5
The hotel is beautifully situated in the jungle and the rooms were very spacious and clean. The food at the restaurant was good, we dined there two nights and then went into town for one night. During the evening turn down service, they leave you little dessert treats by your bedside table which change each day, which was a really nice touch!
The hotel is a 10 min drive out of town, so you would benefit from having a car. The hotel do offer a shuttle to/from the town, however they charge $10USD. For the price of the hotel each night, I would think this should be complimentary. We also found some of the staff to be quite inattentive, which was a surprise given the hotel was only half full. Not a big issue, but would have expected more for a 5 star hotel.

loved the outdoor tub and pool. great restaurant
yours were pricey
