A wonderful place, with delicious food, and beautiful landscapes. We had an issue in our room related to a leak in one of the pipes, after we report it, the hotel send someone immediately and after a quick inspection they offered a new room, in similar experiences we had to wait for a repair, but on this occasion the staff was really nice and we were their priority.

The price for most of the food was in par with the quality, but a few dishes were really expensive for the quantity/ingredients, ask the staff for details of the food if you have any questions or feel something is off

The pool bar wasn't staffed (off season?) I think due to low/rainy season things were pretty quiet, but we grew to appreciate it

The whole resort! I have so much history with this resort, and was so happy to see that it is still as beautiful as I remember. The food was really good, and being welcomed with a delicious drink!

How dirty the beach was , when we arrived was low tide and the amount of trash on the beach was surreal, it was so much and all kind of trash from bags, containers and everything you can imagine , and after the high tide the next day the beach was clean because all the trash went right back to the ocean :( I definitely didn’t get in the ocean at all at this beach!!! But the pool was awesome !!!

It was perfect and the staff is very welcoming nd kind! We loved our stay!

location and surroundings are perfect. the view to the sea from the room is amazing.

the menu is over-priced and was not value for money. the activities are very expensive as well. the service of the staff was so so.

The tp´s are great, they have a nice bath, coffee station and a great view of the beach. It´s very private and close to the beach. The place itself is a jewl.

The TPs are great, but they are ancient, they smell old and unrefreshed. The bed is nice but the sheets are not comfy because of the materials of the bedcover. It looks like a lux hotel from the 90´s. It´s not a match for the money... Breakfast is also not great, although it has a lovely beach view.

Remarkable everything! Food was magnificent. Enjoyed ocean view from tiki hut. Pool great. Beach was maybe the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. A perfect respite from many other beaches in Costa Rica that are crowded and too many local vendors aggressively approaching to sell goods. Tango Mar was private due to geographical features on either end of the beach and being a gated property. Would like to return and spend more time there! Hilde is the best innkeeper!

Lots to do. Room with sea view. Food lovely and loved the pool bar for cocktails and milkshakes. Staff (including the owner) were very helpful and friendly. Great horse riding trip and on-site massage. Saw lots of monkeys in the gardens.

Wi-Fi was not the best

Spacious room. Helpfulness of staff. Overall hotel facilities were top-notch. Upkeep of property was excellent. Everything was designed to provide us with a relaxed and care-free holiday. The views from anywhere are spectacular.

A small nuisance having to re-sign into the wifi every time rather than have my computer 'recognize' the site. [picky picky]. Maybe change up the dinner menu --as a multi-day guest it would have been nice--but not a big deal.

Most Beautiful Views from the fabulous rooms, the wonderful dining area and the lovely pools. Wonderful Staff and ready to help. Private beach - only hotel guests on the beach so you have it to yourself. A private beach is quite rare in Costa Rica. The Beach waves crashing sooth the soul. Absolutely perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing, OCEAN view stay ...but you can also go on adventure tours if you wish. A hidden Gem. We visited Santa Teresa beach 4o minutes away which is very expensive and crowded (but beautiful) so this was a good alternative to the expensive hotels in Santa Teresa .

Most spectacular views of the ocean from every room, the dining areas and pools….outstanding vistas! and you can hear the sounds of the waves crashing-so soothing and relaxing! unparalleled ocean spot!

The restaurant : for the price and.even for this country the chicken was hard and they put french price with not the quality at all The reception : they force you to go wash your hands before talking to you, like you re a virus walking

Everything was awesome. Breakfast was amazing, I just found the price of the other meals a little high considering how much I had already paid for the room.

The prices of all the extras, I found it a little gouging.
