Extremely friendly staff and very approachable with my baby

We stayed in Apartments and they really need improvements. A/C, Fridge and fans not working properly. Doors and bathrooms need repair.

The white Elephant is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience!
I stayed here for a few days after my safari and it was the perfect ending to an already amazing adventure.
The hotel is set amidst a tropical jungle and outdoor art gallery, and is right on the Indian Ocean.
Imagine having your meals right off the beach!
And the staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating.

The room was huge and the furniture funky and comfortable. The room was also very clean. The property feels like a jungle, in a way. The lunch and dinner food at the restaurant was good. The staff are very nice.
1) The staff are super nice but we definitely had a hard time with things like ordering food and drinks - it took some patience. 2) The buffet breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. 3) The amount of raunchy nude art on the property and in the rooms felt odd, especially given that the subjects were always young black women, and the artist is an older, white Italian man. It felt fetishistic. 4) The vibe around the pool is escort-y.

Apartment B was great, large living and dining room, two bedrooms, kitchen and outdoor terrace.
The entire staff is wonderful, always happy and eager to help.

Living and dining room area don't have AC, which is needed at the end of the day since it gets very hot. Few pots and passing kitchen.

Peace & quiet, environment & beach, beach guard @ night was very alert, resturant has a special pizza oven, lighting has improved at night, reception & resturant staff were caring
Staff attentiveness is not there, was at the beach in the evening at 6pm expecting a staff to come with beach beds or atleast ask if we needed them but no one was around

It’s stunning! Natural beauty mixed with stunning art. Everywhere you look is just beautiful and it’s right on the beach. The pool are is really peaceful and all the staff are super friendly. I can’t speak highly enough about The White Elephant

5. Leaking water to the entry and livingroom when it was raining.

7. No TV, you need to Ask for one.

Beautiful very big room, the pool area was amazing. And the food in restaurant was very good. The staff was really nice and helpfull. The garden was also really nice.
