the apartment was in a block facing the sea with a balcony. the decor is old but well preserved but dont expect new fixtures. the location as at the end of the promenade but is only a short walk into town and the are loads of good restaurants nearby and the beach is literally across the road. the swimming pool is excellent and a really good size with a shallow and deep end . the pool is open 10.30 am - 8pm but closes between 3-5 . we would use the pool in the morning and then go to the beach after lunch . because we flew we bought a beach umbrella and towels, but was definitely worth it. there was a cleaner everyday and there is really good air con

the pool was in shade from about 6.00 pm, but its so hot it didnt really matter time for a new bath in this apartment the enamel has been painted lots of times and the paint has come off in lots of places

Very good location ! Clean & good views from 9th floor ! A lovely surprise.which was a bottle of red wine Cabernet Sauvignon ! Unfortunately TV had no signal & also swimming pool unavailable as being refurbished !! Still enjoyed our visit !

There are only 2 dog-friendly hotels in the city centre of Almunecar. Chinasol is the better one :) ... location is very good! Liked also our little balcony and the complimentary vine bottle!

The hotel has seen a lot of life and needs updating. But it's ok for one night!

The apartment was a little dated but clean and comfortable

The Aircon was effective and the beds comfortable. The kitchenette was very useful.

The booking confirmation specified 'Sea View', this being the only reason we made this booking. The view was of an apartment block opposite. Despite complaints nothing was done to sort this. Cleanliness was good apart from the bathroom which needed a deep clean.

In the end they gave me sea view for 1 night after telling me there was nothing available - this view was perfect!! The pool was great for swimming lengths. Location great (20+ minuteS to bus station though but nice walk) Nice welcome on table in room

None of what I thought I was getting was gaurenteed. No sea view No in room WiFi (they do state this) Dated especially the bathroom and Residential apartments with dogs everywhere (still would have been worth it if I got a sea view) You cannot remotely work from here unless you have super mobile data.

Great location. Fabulous view and big pool, sunbathing terrace.

Only downside is the walls are thin, so you can here people talking in the room next to you at night.
