The tourist park is teeming with wildlife - kangaroos and many bird species - and a short drive from the Wonderland section of The Grampians. Our cabin had an excellent kitchen with a gas stove top and electric oven, and was modern, nicely designed, warm and comfortable. We were very happy to be given an upgrade when we arrived at a quiet time in winter. The shop at reception had a wide range of groceries and you could also order coffee on the weekend.

The location is amazing. The room is perfect and has everything you would need for a trip to the Grampians. Not far from the waterfalls, lookouts and tracks.

Large spacious cabin which was very clean, location was perfect & the common areas are amazing!
Definitely coming back & would highly recommend staying here.

Lakeside has been on our family radar for over 10 years. The location is brilliant and there has been a lot of improvements made to the park since my last visit. Open fires are a real treat as is the wildlife.

Excellent location under tge cliffs of the Grampians. Plenty of wildlife, esoecially emus, as well as kangaroos, deer and a whole range of bird life.

A little removed from town. Not really walking distance. However we knew that going in.

The wood fire pool was amazing. We really enjoyed the use of the common area, it was very cozy while it was rainy outside.

The LOCATION, the service, the helpfulness of the staff. The cabin was spotless, bed was comfortable heater was very efficient. I found I had to discipline myself to sightsee because sitting on the balcony was so relaxing.

The place is very well equipped with great homeware and applicance. We love the gas BBQ to make meals and heater to keep nights warm. It's on the outskirts of Halls Gap town (5 mins drive) and the Bellfield lake is simple within walking distance. Excellent getaway place for family trip.
The internet and mobile phone signal coverage could be better. You barely get one or two bars 3G signal onsite.

Loved our stay at the park we had a walk around and saw lots of options for staying in different cabins, a heated pool, kids playground and facilities all looked good. Hoping to visit again with extended family. loved seeing the kangaroos and emus near by and lots of bird life. the view from just outside our cabin was lovely. at first we were worried that it would be noisy as our cabin was the first on the main strip but our bedroom was at the back and it was all quiet the two nights we stayed.
there wasn't an oven but we managed to cook in the mini weber on the front verandah, now we want a mini weber!

I can never write enough about how satisfied I am with this place. Close to the nature, yet equipped with full set of services/needs within the facility. We stayed in the cabin with a weekendbag only and that was hassle free. I wanted to extend our holiday because it feels just like home.
