Honestly, a wonderful riad, and perfect in every way for our stay! Being across the valley from Imlil, this riad gets the sun on its roof terrace later into the afternoon, making it a lovely spot to sit and drink tea or read a book. The sunset lighting behind the mosque made for gorgeous photos from the roof terrace also. The people running the riad - Marika and Abdilatif - could not have been nicer, and we felt genuinely sad to say goodbye to them at the end of our stay. We had some of the best dinners of our whole trip in Morocco at this riad, and loved the cosy lounge/ dining rooms where food is served. While not lit during out stay (it was still warm), fireplaces in the lounge/ dining rooms and our bedroom suggested toasty evenings are on offer in the winter months. During the colder nights, we really didn't need the fire to be lit in our room as the multiple blankets on our bed were great at keeping us warm. Along with our Marrakech riad, this riad offered the most comfortable bed of our time in Morocco (4 different riads in total) and we could have happily spent many more nights there. The riad is also well-located for walking up to the top of Tizi n'Tamatert (all on a very quiet road, so easy underfoot and with amazing views) and, while possibly slightly further away from the start of the Toubkal climb than Imlil, it would be my preferred location for that hike too as it is practically all downhill so a nice, easy start before all the uphill to come (whereas from Imlil it's an uphill start). We truly can't speak highly enough of this riad, my husband and I definitely hope to be back!!

Very friendly and help staff. The lodge was very clean and they were able to accommodate us for one more night at last minute. They also helped arrange a guide as our plans had changed due to the weather. Overall we are very pleased with our stay at the lodge.

The lodge is a 40min walk to Imlil, therefore stating it is a Imlil lodge is a little deceiving. There was only one sign post leading to the lodge from the road that showed a “down” arrow. It was trickier to find than we anticipated.

Yes, the accommodation is good, but unfortunately we‘ve feeled a little scammed, because they told us, that the price for dinner is 5€ per person, but as we‘ve checked out, they charged us 100 dirham per person…

Property is clean and tidy. Loads of room. Balcony with little river views. Food was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Find a property was little bit difficult. Walk down to a property with a luggage is challenging.

this has nothing to do with the lodge, but the road is a tad bit hard to navigate. I hope they fix it to make visiting the beautiful Imlil and its surroundings easier.

the Lodge is very luxurious and tasteful for our understanding. Especially the rooms with the private balcony and view, and the rooftop terrace are great. And we met several other travellers because of the relaxed atmosphere

the climb to the car. The lodge is in a small Berber mountain village, which makes it an unique experience but you have to make an effort!

Extremely lovely hosts! Helping us organise hiking tours. Breakfast was lovely and we could also get a beautiful homemade dinner. The rooms and communal area is extremely comfortable giving a homely feeling. Beautiful roof terrace with a view on the mountains. The stay is a bit out of Imlil but the ideal spot to start a hiking tour.

Everything was really clean. Very friendly staff. The sound of the river, just outside the house, and the sound of the little fire in the fireplace was sooo relaxing. The dinner and breakfast were amazing - best tajine we had in Morocco.

You can‘t park your car in front of the house, beacuase you have to walk a few metres to get to it. But they offered us help to carry our luggage.

The service and attention to detail was excellent. Quiet location and area was just what was needed. Fire lit in your room and hot water in the bed on a cold night.

it was soooo cold! heating insufficient for location and the front door was kept open at -4 degrees. hammam not working so couldn’t warm up there either!

a great place to stay in, we've spent three beautiful days among the atlas mountains with a wonderful balcony view especially on snowy days. the hosts were very friendly and very welcoming and you'll find them at your service whenever you need them just don't be shy to ask. the breakfast did the job. overall the stay worth it. we'll comeback fore sure!!

Such a great spot in the Atlas Mountains. Beautiful lodge on the inside and so cosy with the fireplace in our room which was made for us every night before we arrived back at the hotel. Very nice breakfast and dinner too. Great views from the top of the hotel roof.

This is a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The house is a unique place for a gateway. I will definitely come back.
