Convenient location for the station. Room was adequate.

Expensive for what you get. Top floor rooms require getting two separate lifts. Sloping ceiling in room made it tricky to avoid hitting head. Quite noisy location - shouting in the square outside until late.

Well located, clean, modern facilities

Best Western are definitely moving down market, with minimal built-in furniture in good condition but reminiscent of the 2* dives I used in my youth. Lino floors. Small windows. Minimal facilities in the room.

Everything was excellent. The room was clean, big and just what we needed. The breakfast was from 6.30am - 11am so we didn't need to get up early and the food was excellent - I tried everything and it was all great. I'm coeliac and they sorted me some bread - warm too! The saunas were just the right temperature - sometimes saunas are not hot enough. The pool was a shock - very 'fresh' - but exactly what was needed to cool down after saunas - perfect, once you'd got used to it. Sauna & pool au naturale was lovely too. On the first night we got there, we were very tired (train problems) and the staff could not have been more attentive explaining how things worked to us - we will go back again. Also, it was so close to the station so I didn't have far to carry our bags either way.

It was all perfect.

Location was very good, right opposite the main train station. comfortable and spacious room. Strong Wi-Fi. Breakfast was good. Shopping area was about 1 km from the hotel.

Room rates are on the higher side.

Reading previous comments, I thought I must have gone to the wrong hotel. The area was fine, the restaurant took a booking and were polite and the meal was good. The prices were unbelievably reasonable and altogether this was well worth the 4 stars. Oh , and by the way, there IS air conditioning in the rooms. One thing we all agree on, the breakfast is spectacular. A great overnight stay.

Great and friendly staff. The accommodation was nicely located for my travel and close to walking from the train station.

The room was the best part of our brief stay. It was spacious, quiet (as requested), and the bathroom facilities were adequate. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Everybody else was not (see below). The location was good, being very close to the railway station in our case.

We only stayed one night, but decided to have a drink during the evening in the hotel bar, which doubled for the restaurant and the breakfast location. Before we had barely seated ourselves or even thought about what we might like to drink, a male member of the waiting staff almost pounced on us and announced in fierce tones that the restaurant was closed and there was no food available. We said we merely wanted a drink, but the waiter did not seem to understand, and repeated his earlier statement. His colleague came to the rescue and told us that if we wanted just a drink, that was fine. Worse was to follow at breakfast the next morning. I had made a dietary requirement with the booking (well in advance) for lactose-free milk for my partner. We asked the waitress for this when she brought the tea and coffee. She immediately made a grimace and retorted that there was no lactose-free milk and we should have ordered it in advance. I said I had done so. The waitress replied that nobody had told her about it, so there was no lactose-free milk. She walked away. When she returned with the ordinary milk for myself, I repeated the request for the lactose-free milk for my partner. The waitress made a sign of exasperation, walked to the fridge behind the bar, extracted a carton of milk, opened it, sniffed it and then threw it in the garbage bin. She looked over to us and said that the lactose-free milk was off and there was no more. I went to the reception and asked them to confirm that when I booked the room I had made a dietary request for lactose-free milk. The sympathetic receptionist was helpful, and she confirmed what I had maintained. I then explained that the waitress was being uncooperative and could someone in authority please tell her to get or to bring us some lactose-free milk. The receptionist did this, via what seemed to be harsh words to the waitress, after which, in a short while, a jug of lactose-free milk was slammed down on the table by the angry waitress.
