Lack of availability of a very early early morning breakfast. This is typical for any part of Kerala no matter weather you a staying the heart of big city or a place in the outskirts.

Mr. Stanley is an exceptional host. Though he lives abroad, he checked on us from the day of booking till the end ! Mr. Abhijith the caretaker had kept the property very clean. It's quite a spacious bungalow, with serene, verdant surroundings in the midst of nature. It was a home away from home and we truly enjoyed as a family. This is a hidden gem available at an extremely affordable price.

The location is amazing and the villa is mesmerizing. We had an amazing time there.

Thanal is a lovely Kerala-style villa, set in beautiful lush green surroundings. The river is just 5 min away and a nice little place to sit and relax. The rooms are nice and beds are comfortable, the living room area is huge . Perfect for a big group of friends. Stanley and Aneesh were always available and friendly hosts. Highly recommend!

Power cuts were inconvenient, but they didn't last long. Hence, not really a big issue.

The property is exceptionally good. More than that, Stanley and Aneesh will ensure that you are taken care and issues if any are addressed immediately.

There are advantages and also disadvantages for being far away from the city. For me being far away from the crowd to the greenary is a positive feeling and you don't want to be in city during pandemic.

Great scenic location, very good value for money. It has all the facilities of a home. Property is very well kept and Aneesh the property manager was very courteous and very helpful.

This place does not feel like a hotel or resort. It's premium house. All furnitures and devices are costly. For getting similar facilities in a 100km radius, you might have to pay almost 4 times the price. And I don't think a similar facility is available nearby. River in 100 meters. Friendly staff. Ideal for families. This place is a good option for foreigners staying for longer period.

Family home away from home, equally good for everyone from all age groups, there's a favorite corner for everyone.

I'd be nitpicking as I find no reason that went against.
