Great location and wonderful staff

The house is fantastic as it keeps the traditional architecture of Barichara but is mixed with modern amenities. The staff was fantastic and helpful. The room was absolutely amazing and comfortable.

The only thing I didn't like was the checkout time as it was set really early (11am)

Amazing hotel with excellent service. We had dinner at the bar and it was really good. The breakfast was also fantastic. Staff was very helpful.

The View, the gardens and salt water pool!

We spent 2 nights at Casa Barichara. It was never so easy for us to say: everything was great at this boutique hotel, todo excelente. Large rooms with comfortable beds, central location on a higher spot with beautiful views over Barichara, terrace with large open- air spaces and hammocks, small pool. And everyone of the female staff so friendly and always with a smile. Certainly we will stay here again, and more nights, when coming back to Barichara.

There is nothing we could complain about.

Casa Barichara helped with our transfer to and from Barichara which was appreciated as we only know a few Spanish words. The setting, staff and breakfast were exceptional. Thank you to everyone at Casa Barichara for making our stay so memorable. A perfect Colombian casa and town.

this place involves everything about Barichara , is a colonial hotel with beautiful views. the food is delicious and the staff, no words , the kindest women’s ever…

is very easy to hear noises.

The hotel is situated up a hill on the edge of town, which if often called the most beautiful in Colombia. The public rooms are well presented and also have fantastic views down to the pretty town of Barichara and the surrounding countryside. The staff looked after you well breakfast looking out over the view of Barchara was a great experience.

Not a single flaw

We loved the hotel, we visited Barichara during the low season and everything at the hotel was excellent. The interior design, the garden, the rooms, the service and even the food. The house has a beautiful garden and the owners have taken care of very single detail. We loved our bedroom, which ahd a very good size and a fantastic bathroom. The place was flexible with children, despite being the only family there during our stay. We also loved the location, since it is in the town and you can walk everywhere from the hotel, but the area is quite and not surrounded by bars/ cafes... Finally the house has an outstanding view of Barichara.
