This apartment is in one of the best locations if you want to be central with super easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants. It couldn’t be better. What’s also great is we were left some washing up liquid, coffee pods (although we didn’t use them), and condiments such as packets of oil, vinegar, etc. I say this because when you go self catering and for us on this occasion we only stayed for 3 days, the last thing you want to buy are these items as you’ll never use them all. So I really appreciate hosts who leave these for guests.

We had an issue with the shower on our first evening and messaged the host - they were lightening quick to respond and arranged for someone to come and sort it that night. Unfortunately the issue kept happening every time we used the shower so we worked around it ourselves for ease. But as I say the host was fast to respond and try to resolve when we told first them. A suggestion for the host is also to install a full length mirror. The only one in the apartment is the one in the bathroom and I’d have appreciated a longer one in the bedroom.

Flight was delayed but they came at rearranged time very friendly informative

was not impressed with teh check out process as we planned for later and then had to rush to get out by 10.30 alos the parking nearby was very expensive this shoudl be stated on the booking site ( 31 euros) for 24 hrs

en-suite shower off the master bedroom had a problem with drainage, which made the bathroom damp and stinky. the living room windows are on the street so we left the blinds down which made it dark inside the apartment

Sensational apartment! It looks even better than in the pictures! Soundproof! 3 beaches at a distance of 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 8 minutes on foot. the old center is a 5-minute walk away. kaufland and the train station plus bus to Sintra 5 minutes away.

Host Mara was welcoming and friendly and on time for check in and check out. She met us at 7am for an early check out (as needed to get to airport) which was appreciated. Apartment was a good size for our family and had a fully stocked kitchen. Location was perfect as in centre of town with a 2 minute walk to train station and had restaurants etc all around. Very easy access to everything including the beach. We had a terrific stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Floors in apartment need to be washed and scrubbed as could feel sand and grit on feet on arrival. Think room was swept but was sticky so grit was stuck on floor and didn't feel clean even when we swept.

The location was perfect , town & beach on the doorstep . It was a very secure & safe property & bedrooms were spacious & comfortable. The owner left a bottle of wine / water for us which was very nice !

I just missed outdoor space / terrace to eat out on & or have a drink in the evenings .

Amazing place, in the best location of the old town. Also at no more than 50 m from a very nice beach... Everything was so perfect and the the team managing the appartement was very helpful and really efficient !!! Thank you all, we really enjoyed our time in Cascais thanks to you.

The service was responsive and we were met on check in. Location was very central.

The apartment was musty smelling and not clean. The photos were misleading as the furnishing were all very worn and the design is a wallpaper mural, rather than authentic decor.

Spacious apartment with some nice elements in a perfect location. Literally a few steps from the beach and the city center. Some very nice reastaurants nearby.

The double bed wasn't comfortable. Old hard matras and very small. It was also quite noisy, both from within the building and from the street but the most important issue during our stay was the unescapable damp air throughout the apartment. I imagine that you don't notice it so much during the summertime when it's hot outside but we travelled in the autumn and the smell and damp air dominated our stay. A major issue defining our stay and consequently this review.
