Location, breakfasts

Ostrava, Brno, Timisoara, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Gyõr... In the last two years, I have stayed in many three-star pensions/accommodations in the medium-sized cities of Central and Eastern Europe. Košice's Penzion Beryl sets the standard. Friendly, helpful and quick reception. Large and spotless room (with great bathroom). Comfortable bed. Quiet location - yet about 100 metres from Hlavná, which is the main artery in the historic heart of this city. I was there for one night. If I had been on business, I would happily stayed longer. You will not do better in this part of the world.

There have been no negative experiences

Located just off the main square in a quiet street, which made it easy to find. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served in the restaurant below and was typical Central European breakfast, with lots of choices. You could order espresso or other coffees as well. The staff was very nice, from the reception to the cleaners. The room had a small fridge/mini-bar.

The lighting for applying makeup in the bathroom is a little weak.

Centrally located with private parking, very spacious room, delicious buffet breakfast on patio.

It’s a great place for tranzit in Kosice, very clean, quiet, close to old town, personnel was nice and we really enjoyed the included buffet breakfast :)

Mattress was a bit hard for my taste, but was not a big bother

We’ve arrived with a little baby with a stroller and a large suitcase. There’s no elevator or any other way apart from stairs (a number of!) to first of all enter the hotel + a staircase to get to each flour. It was not mentioned anywhere and was extremely inconvenient to carry stroller multiple times up and down during our stay. Moreover, we’ve booked a parking (7 euros, outside the hotel). How terribly surprised we were when we came to hotel from a short walk around the city and could not access the car. It was 8-9 pm in the evening. We had stuff including baby water and food in the car. I’ve called hotel number and nobody answered. We could open the car only in the morning.

Great location, very comfortable and clean. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. We arrived very late in the evening, instructions to enter the hotel and room were easy to understand. No problems

I really missed Aircondition. The room had only small window and inside there was to hot to sleep...

Bit understaffed, and when we wanted to leave the parking area we waited in vain for them to come as promised to open the gate while we were in a hurry to get to the airport.
