**Review of Hotel Jupiter**
Hotel Jupiter's prime location within the historic Diocletian’s Palace, close to the Jupiter Temple, Peristil, bars, restaurants, and the promenade, makes it ideal for a romantic getaway, cultural exploration, and relaxation. It's easily accessible from Split International Airport by bus and has nearby ferry connections. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. We highly recommend Hotel Jupiter for its perfect blend of location, accessibility, and exceptional service, and look forward to returning.
We were disappointed with the cleanliness and hygiene of the outside terrace. During breakfast, we noticed dirt and waste under our table and around us. Although we reported this to the management, they sent a staff member who began cleaning but was quickly redirected to another task, leaving the area still unclean.

Loved our room with the view and balcony. Location was great.
Breakfast was nothing special. No service...had to get own cutlery etc.
Coffee machine in room with no coffee or cups. We had to phone and ask and then he told us we must come down and get it. After asking again, we got coffee and paper cups, no sugar etc. Amenities stated robes -was not in room.
Overall nice room.

Fantastic remodel in an ancient building. Very nice hotel, fantastic location, fantastic breakfast.
The beds could be replaced. My bed was old and saggy and too soft.

The kindness of the staff, especially on Sunday morning when they gave us all the necessary information and enabled us to stay longer without payment. Thanks to Ivana, who worked on Sunday morning. see you next year at the Split Marathon 2024. Close to the center, excellent breakfast already from 7:00 a.m., although it is usually from 7:30 a.m. Well done, and keep it up.

The staff are very personalise and breakfast is great. I checkout at 0430 in the morning and the staff offered breakfast to go which is very thoughtful.
Great location. Many restaurants around.
The bed is way too soft and bouncy for me. There's no ledge for toiletries in the shower room which is very inconvenience.

Special shout out to Petra, too bad we missed her at check out. We would have gladly thanked het for the awesome service and recommendations in Split.

This hotel has undergone an amazing renovation with comfortable beds, pillows and lots of unique furniture. Located in a central location of old town. Amazing and varied breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out. This hotel was a highlight of our Croatia trip, highly recommended!

Location is impressive.
Little bit outdated. Instructions for parking was “challanging”, best if send photo how parking looks like. Staff after later arrival was not very helpful
to resolve parking question :-)

Nothing actually. The staff was awfully rude and forced us to pay and additional charge under the guise of "insurance" - this at the time of check in when the payment had already made through booking a week ago.
They are aware that as a customer you have no choice - as they won't allow you to check in unless you pay their " insurance ransom" amount which is neither mentioned by Booking nor by the property.
Beware of the charges as shown on Booking.com - because at the time of check in - the Property will force you to purchase compulsory "insurance" which is absolutely unheard of. They shall try and confuse you by saying that it is the mandatory City Tax - which of course is completely normal and acceptable and then comes the forced insurance which per them - is also mandatory by the City.
I have been traveling across the world for over 40 years now- and this was the first time ever that any hotel forced me to purchase insurance (citing it to be a mandatory requirement by the City of Split) and that too when I was standing at the counter for check-in. They said they would not allow me to check in unless that fabricated and trumped up charge of "insurance" was paid. They said I was free to contact Booking.com and sort it out with them but check in won't be allowed till this additional charge was settled upfront - this when the payment for my stay had already been paid for prior to even my arriving at the property.
I was traveling with my family and was basically arm twisted to shell out additional money just at the brink of checking in.
The room was supposed to have amenities like tea/coffee maker - there were none. When my wife reached out to the reception desk regarding this - they handed her an electric kettle and asked her to go figure out where to place and plug it in the room - and there was no desk and outlet for the same.
The converted sofa bed was awful - and absolutely uncomfortable. My two cents - please stay away from this property . Opt for something which is maybe 20 bucks or so more.
They are cheaters and scammers - I wish I had believed the negative reviews.

The location was perfect - right in the middle of the old city. Check in was easy and quick. Very quiet even though you are right in the middle of the old town.

great location for visiting old city
room was great but needed some maintenance. Drains in sink needed to be unplugged. shower was difficult to use without flooding the bathroom.

great location, comfortable bed, good breakfast
The jacuzzi on the rooftop wasn’t in operation, they could have made more of this area too.

location and staff were great
when I’m staying at a hotel. i expect a few basic things like. not having two single beds pushed together with individual toppers creating a weird gap in the middle - so in turn basically sleeping on a single bed. this also match the bedding all single bedding, just a duvet and no top sheet. hotel offered a airport transport but for 50€ when I did my own research I found out that it was only 25-35€ which it was when I arranged my own in the morning.

Excellent location, right within the palace and just aruond the corner from the main square, the harbour and the old town. Staff were super helpful and gave us great recommendations for things to see and how to get around etc. Lovely stay and great hotel!

I was supposed to stay somewhere else but i called for information and the receptionist Ana was so incredibly friendly that I decided to stay here and I didn't t regret it one minute. All in this hotel is showing the intent of perfection. Big things and small things. The inclusive breakfast is really fantastic. Thanks to all the personnel and the manager.
I cannot think of anything that could be improved. The only place with lights that can be managed from the bed. With enough sockets to charge your laptop and your phones at the same time. Excellent restaurant recommendation. I felt sad to leave...I would not dream of going somewhere else...they even offered to come meet me on my way if I could not find it.

This is a fabulous location, inside Diocletian's Palace and just a few steps from many of the major sights. The staff were welcoming and helpful at every turn. The historic building has been beautifully decorated, and rooms were decently large and very comfortable. Also, rooms are fully air-conditioned.
The Wifi was absolutely terrible. Do not count on being able to work from this hotel. One out of three nights we could not get hot water for our showers. (The desk staff said that this was because a rain-storm brought a lot of guests back to the hotel at the same time and the system was over-loaded.). The elevator was also broken during our stay, which wasn't a big deal for us, but might have been a major problem for others.

Breakfast was quite basic.
You need to go early since lot of stuff had ran out if you went around 9.
