Very clean with great facilities and very family friendly.

The air con didn’t work well so a little warm for sleeping. They offered a tan though and can leave doors open to cool the room so ways around it.

Breakfast was excellent, wide range of fresh tropical fruit, made to order omelettes and freshly baked cakes, aside from a huge range of everything else…Every day started perfectly with breakfast by the pool, the chefs and staff were extremely attentive and welcoming each morning.

I didn’t use the restaurant or main bar as it seemed very expensive, although both looked beautiful. But enjoy eating out and exploring venues in the wider area around Quinta do Lago and Faro itself.

Restaurants for dinner in the hotel offers impracticable menus for families. There is no opportunity for families with kids to use the indoor pool, which is located in the spa. During our stay there where a lot of families in the hotel.

Location facilities and breakfast all superb

The rooms were not cleaned properly each day. Items such as toilet roll, sugar and general items like conditioner etc it replaced. We had to ask for items which you would not expect in a hotel of this calibre.

The breakfast was excellent, especially the pasteis de nata Th E outdoor and indoor pools were both lovely.

Dejligt hotel med rummelige suiter. De mindste suiter er 66 m2, har stort køkken-alrum, 2 badeværelser og rummeligt soveværelse. Spabehandlinger var gode og meget professionelle. Morgenmaden lækker og området er godt, også selvom du ikke spiller golf. Nem adgang til suiterne med elevator fra p-kælder. Meget serviceminded personale

Spa afdeling er gammel og slidt. Sauna er lille, de to jacuzzi er næsten uden bobler og den ene var defekt og ude af drift under vores besøg. Den indendørs pool er ikke ret varm og for lille til rigtigt at svømme i. Den var i øvrigt også ude af drift under en del af vores ophold. Spa afdelingen trænger til at blive moderniseret. Men der er rent og personalet er venlige og forsøgte på bedste vis at kompensere for ulemperne.

The room we had was excellent, very spacious and modern. Everything provided robes, slippers, bathroom products. The small kitchen area was great.

XXL restaurant really needs a variable menu if you staying for a week or more, the menu choices are quite slim.

The breakfast was lovely, lots of selection and the rooms were really comfortable. Location and staff great too.

Terrible access to sun loungers around the pool. You can’t entirely blame the hotel given it is the selfish attitude of the guest (mainly British) who placed towels on multiple beds early to cover adults and children. Some would disappear for large parts of the day when too hot leaving their towels so they could return to their prime location later. Other hotels we have stayed in deal with this by having the pool attendant gather towels that are on loungers that are not being used. A simple card system ensures that you return your towel as you need to present a card to collect a towel the next day. The photos attached show people who have placed towels on loungers and then disappeared.

The people that run the place make things happen and the facility is above average.

the room doors slam whenever anyone doesn't take care in closing them due to the wrong type of Hydraulic or Pneumatic door closers and without carpeting in the corridors the slamming of the door is amplitude as if doors are being busted.

Beds were comfortable, room amenities very nice. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Evening dining options extremely limited, only one main restaurant and another serving just snacks. No evening buffet despite a breakfast buffet being served. Not many alternative places around, so unless you wanted to eat at the same restaurant (a la carte) each evening, it was a taxi ride away to get some variety. Wifi was hit and miss. Worked perfectly at the pool (!), but often kept dropping out in the room. Hotel just felt a little lacking in atmosphere. Despite breakfast buffet and pool being busy (so obviously the occupancy was high), on an evening there was barely anyone around, so even though a singer/musician was performing, they often only played to 5-6 families. People definitely seemed to go elsewhere in the evening (probably because of the limited dining options), but therefore the entertainment was wasted on just a few families and fell a little flat.

A great experience at your hotel and appreciate the friendly staff! Daily breakfast was wonderful and truly the best! Stayed at a hotel that supposedly has a nice accommodation further down but cannot compare the food and the service received at the Wyndham. I highly recommend this hotel!
