Breakfast was nice with many lovely choices of both sweet and savory food. The boiled eggs were all a little undercooked, but their breads were delicious. It was hard to find staff to ask them to please bring more coffee. We were promised free passes to see many of the sights in the city but then in order to get them we had to provide a lot of personal information like home addresses, photo ids etc and then they did not give us the passes until later. The beds were very comfortable but the space in the bathrooms was very tight, making it uncomfortable to sit on the toilet with the shower right there. I really liked that they provided the guests with free bottles of water every time we needed some. This was a big plus for my family and something that really made our stay very pleasant. The staff was very professional although a little stiff. We did not strike conversation with any of them in a personal manner, something we always do wherever we travel. However, if there was a need for something and you went looking for someone, there was always pride in helping you out. Although we went when it was a little rainy, the terrace they have is very beautiful and i would have loved to sit there with a coffee and write on my travel journal.
We would have liked to have someone close by when we had breakfast so we could ask for a little more coffee. Parking was a little but hard to find, but we did manage to find a place each night close to the hotel.

Located in the center of a small farming / residential village it became a perfect starting point for excursions. Spacious rooms, restaurant, and a generous sized outdoor seating area.
Sufficient parking streetside or in the rears of the property.
too bad the elevator was non-operational due to repairs.

The breakfast was wonderful as was the restaurant in general. The guest room smelled of smoke although it was a non-smoking room. We thought the smell was coming in from another unit however - perhaps through the bathroom fan?? The room was very clean and spacious. We were also thrilled that there was bus service to Tubingen; this made the more rural location much easier for us to get around as we had no car.
See above.

Great!

Very quiet and peaceful. The decor is pleasant and the easy access to a bus stop was convenient. The staff was helpful and owners went out of their way to accommodate a few of our issues. A staff member, Victoria, was especially friendly and aided us with transportation to the airport. Overall, a great stay for our first trip to Germany, would recommend to anyone looking for a comfy, quiet stay.
A far from the main city, Tübingen, but a minor drawback from a great hotel.

A little bit in the middle of nowhere in a village. Room was spacious, a bit dark. Good breakfast. Free parking on a private spot.
