The hotel was clean, staff friendly and the DA Vinci Restaurant and pub was excellent.
The hotel rooms and hallways have not been updated in years. Looks tired. The rugs and walls in hallways are stained.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar has character and feels very homely.
There was no food in the hotel apart from breakfast. The hotel only made me aware of this on the day I was to arrive which meant it was too late to cancel if I wished to do so. On our second morning, we were awoken by a man outside our room window at 8:30 using a power washer.

Booked for an overnight for us and our dog during our campervan trip , they advised a recent change in policy on pets but sought approval to allow our dog to stay since this was not picked up on booking.com. Great location - bus from outside straight into Derry centre. Car parking is free too. Upgraded room was a nice touch!
Unfortunately the room was dirty, stains on the couch and dirty water and splashes all down the curtain and on windowsill, as if it hadn’t been cleaned - perhaps not noticed as it was a strange location and liquid type.

Breakfast was poor, no selection , no cereals, no orange juice, no yogurts nothing just toast, my friend had a fry an couldn't eat anything as the knife wouldn't cut the soda the sausage was that hard it must have been laying for days. Very disappointed,
Manners of one the bar staff, totally ignorant to myself and my friend , when I worked the customer was always right.

Staff were good, location a bit out of town, very good parking, rooms generous in size
The bed was absolutely TERRIBLE, could not get comfortable, the mattress had no side structure , no heating in our first room

Fantastic staff, good location, nice breakfast.
Place is run-down. Windows do not lock properly, water faucets from last century, you can see (and smell) mould inside bathroom.
There is also limited room service, priority is given to bar/reustarant

The room was nice and bathroom looked recently renovated.
The breakfast was disappointing for the additional cost. I made a request because the stay was celebrating a special occasion, they emailed to say no problem but then didn't do anything which was disappointing.

Our room (1) had a very funky smell, like wet carpet. Not pleasant to stay in

Our room was overlooking the back of the hotel. On Sunday the breakfast items weren’t replenished as much as they should have been. No choice of bread either.

I liked the location which is close to town but not right in the centre of things. There was plenty of parking. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and check in was seamless. The room was spacious and spotless. I also liked that this is a pet friendly hotel.
there were three of us staying in the room but only two bottles of water were provided. this is a very minor point and I am sure if we had asked for an additional bottle we would have got one. breakfast was a bit disappointing. the quality of food was excellent but it took a long time for food to be replenished when it ran out.

I had a stag party staying on my floor who throughout the night where slamming their doors and also knocked on mine. Staff didn’t care when I rang down and also didn’t care when I spoke to them when checking out. if your a drinker it’s not a bad hotel but if you want a quiet night deffo avoid!
