Staff is friendly. A little haven in the city that is surprisingly cool & unique, with character. A few blocks from lots of restaurants and nightlife. My room (room 11) was nice with private stair & bathroom. While the bathroom is outside the room it was my own to use. Room has lots of features, including separate sitting room & desk. Wifi was good. They helped order me an Uber. Communication prior to arriving was good & they gave me excellent instructions on how to get to their hostel.

While the listing states credit card is accepted, it’s actually not. You must pay by cash. This should be updated. No hot water. They want to charge me for luggage storage even though it’s a giant room with no other luggage. The owner told me I can store my bags without any issue nor did she mention a price.

I arrived at 2pm because of the bus trouble,but staff welcomed me warmly. The bathrooms are separated from the bedroom, so I was able to take a shower even at midnight without worrying about others. There is a patio with pool and some chairs. When having breakfast, there was comfortable space to relax.

The toilet and shower are in separate rooms, but the ceiling is connected, so it's not a completely private room. Therefore, it was a little cold when I took a shower.

I stayed in the room with 4 ‘normal’ beds which had: -Comfortable beds and no bunkbeds😃 -‘Private’ bathroom only for the 4 bed dorm with good shower -Enough space -Socket and a (very) small locker next to the bed (not fixed though, so safety questionable, but at least it’s something and front gate/door is thoroughly locked) -WiFi worked well -Good laundry service -Friendly and helpful staff -Historic center within walking distance (don’t remember the distance exactly, but it wasn’t far)

Nothing to blame the hostel for but two more general remarks: - The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood and at night it felt a bit uncomfortable walking there as a woman alone (although I think it wasn’t unsafe, but more a feeling) -The hostel is far (more than 6km) from the bus terminal (but Uber works in Asuncion, in case you have internet and don’t want to take a regular taxi)

Such a well managed hostel. Staff are always present and available to help with anything. The communal areas are big with lot's of options for social or private seating. The reception doubles as a bar serving drinks at a good price. A really nice vibe, I met lot's of nice people here. One of the best hostels I've stayed at.

The only negative is that the dorm room I was in is close to the communal area where there's usually music playing. Didn't bother me though

I have stayed in many hostels and that was the first time something got stolen. Someone stole a blouse of mine and the necessaire of another girl in the same room. Staff didn’t even pretend to care.. Also, if you are allergic to cats, careful in which room you stay. they usually enter the room and even get on top of the beds.

The place is beautifully decorated and feels very homely and comfortable. The hosts are all very nice. Very nice garden area. Great place to chill. Very cute cats.

I liked everything. If something was to improve I'd say give more touristic information to the guests (tips of what to do, see in Asunción, walking tours etc).

With open windows you need a van to keep the mosquitos away from stiching which makes it quite chilly at night. Unfortunately they only accept cash even though you can pay all else you need by card. As you might not stay in Paraguay for long, you might not have cash. I recommend to bring enough cash from another country and get it changed at the border.

The wifi did not work in every corner of the garden. But that s a small thing.

- Breakfast was very basic (extra charge normally, but I got it free with my double room)

Everything: the lovely staff, the pool, the laid-back vibe in the hostel, bar has yummy food and drinks, amazing breakfast, well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds. It was really hard to leave this place!
