Me and my family could spend a great holiday here, both kids and adults were very happy!

Everything was perfect!

Location was a little bit off the beaten track, great if you want to relax by the pool but wouldn’t be perfect if you were hoping to explore Chania everyday. Staff helped us organise taxis whenever we needed though!

This is a lovely hotel that deserves all the great reviews that it gets! The owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The beds are comfy, it is super clean and well equiped, and the pool area is wonderful. It is not necessary to have a car as the village is walkable and there is bus nearby that goes into Chania, but would recommend it if you want to explore futher afield. Not our first visit and hopefully not our last!

The location and surrundings are great. I wonder what could be better and there is no such thing. The appartment was cleaned everyday. The swimming pool is very nice and deep - very for swimming, not only for children. Walking distance to very nice beach with three good restaurants. The hiking trail to Katholiko monastery is starting nearby. The bar and reception is available from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Very friendly staff.

Everything was perfect.

Fantastic stay with everything we could wish for. The perfect location as base for day trips to explore the western Crete area. Also great for just relaxing and spending the day next to pool or in your private apartment. Hope to return soon.

WiFi was working but a bit slow and eratic at times.

Fabulous apartment - modern, clean and had everything we needed. Even complimentary cake and raki! There were free bikes we used to get to the beach and restaurants. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Fabulous large pool with nice loungers. Pool bar during the day and early evening serving all drinks and snacks with a self service fridge when the bar was shut. Couldn’t fault the place!

Great place! Beautiful garden, very clean rooms, nice swimming pool and helpful stuff. I hope to come back. 9minutes walking to a very beautiful beach and nice restaurant.

Nice & quiet place place. Fantastic staff want to help you any way they can. Tasty breakfasts. Good starting point to explore the island.

Breakfasts could be more varied. Cats are sometimes too intrusive.

We had a wonderful time in Artemis ! The best accommodation we stayed in Crete. We stayed in a 2-bedrooms appartement which was cozy and modern with a large terrace with 2 sunbeds, a table and chairs. The staff is amazing: from the reception team to the cleaning ladies, everybody is lovely and make us feel welcome. It was the perfect stay for us traveling with a 2-years old baby : kind staff, great pool for kids (kids pool ; 0,6 meters deep), a small playground, snacks during the day and a nice and kids friendly beach close-by. We planned to stay 5 nights and finally stayed 2 weeks ! It's situated 5-10 minutes by foot from Zorbas beach which is beautiful and great for kids. And we loved the area which is quiet, with lots of olive trees and view on Zorbas mountain and about 25 minutes driving from Chania.

In October there's no many option to dine out reachable by foot, but if you have a car there's plenty.

This place is absolutely perfection! probably the best accommodation we've ever stayed in. The apartment was super clean, comfortable, big and beautiful. The hosts were very nice, and they even upgrade our room. I wish we had stayed longer, but I will definitely come back soon!

Everything was literally perfect.

We had the perfect family holiday here with our baby and toddler. The apartment was really nicely designed and had everything we needed and the balcony had amazing views and was also very private. Staff wonderful, pool was brilliant for little kids and there were plenty of pool toys (floats etc) to play with, as well as bikes to use for free including a toddler bike that our son loved. Stavros beach is 10 mins walk which was doable in the heat with a child in the pram and another in a baby carrier, and the calm, shallow water is ideal for little kids. We hired a car to explore some other beaches and Chania town, which was easy to organise from the reception.

The only comment is that apartments were not really walking distance to the beach,for us it was probably 10 minutes, which was a little far in the heat…

I love, LOVE! everything about this place. Peacefulness, intimate atmosphre, summery chill out.

This is a wonderful place, we are a family of 4, kids aged 8 and 11. The apartment was perfect, a real home away experience. I can’t find a fault in anything. Peaceful location, phenomenal swimming pool, spectacular views, handy pool snack bar with delicious freshly prepared quick meals. The staff were so kind and helpful every time. It’s just a perfect place for a dream holiday! A hidden gem! 10/10, we will be back 😀 thank you Artemis for making it so special!
