In the middle of the action yet down a lane so tranquil once there. Staff were amazing, breakfast beautiful, good Bali vibe. Loved everything. Travelling 4 countries for 2 months and this was best experience by far.

A little noisy if you like early nights/sleep in but staying in town that’s unavoidable. Staying further out involves transport hassle (renting scooters is very risky wait till you see the traffic madness) and also roosters crowing before dawn!

Amazing food, breakfast was superb! Loved the pool, staff were friendly and helpful.

Staircase with no handrail was a worry!

Great spot just off Monkey Forest, down far enough to be away from the hustle bustle of the street. A nice restaurant across the way offered live music each evening, a nice plus. Room was small, older, and nicely appointed, clean enough. Each room has a dining area on the porch which I really enjoyed. Nice pool. Delicious breakfast every morning. The best coffee :) Friendly and helpful staff, always busy! I enjoyed my stay.

Great location, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was AMAZING and many choices to choose from. Large range of other vegan meals available also.

Wifi was a little slow

This is probably the best hotel I stayed in Bali, phenomenal vegan breakfast, nice and clean specious rooms! The hotel located right in the center of everything, gorgeous temple like architecture and best value for money! The stuff is super friendly and helpful will highly recommend this gem!

The only thing to take in consideration that there is no direct way to get dropped off and picked up by a car because the hotel is in an ally reached by scooter only, but the stuff is super helpful to accommodate that.

It was pure heaven, traditional Balinese from start to finish. The lady at check in was incredibly lovely and then all the staff to follow were equally good. The Kombucha they had in the mini bar was the best I’ve ever had. They refilled water bottles. The bed was so comfortable with fantastic pillows (I have a very bad neck, so these things really stand out). I saw a shooting star on my last night. The gardens and pool are immaculate also. It is just literally Balinese heaven.

Nothing not to like, it’s Bali personified and I felt like a princess.

This old style Balinese (but modernised) accomodation right in the heart of town was just what we were looking for. Friendly staff, brilliant breakfasts, lovely rooms. We'll be back for sure.

location behind a school which has a tanoid system loudly teaching children. I got a ground floor room with no view or light. much better rooms are available are the hotel.

breakfasts were amazing. the location was in central Ubud but was very quiet and felt far from the traffic and noise of the town. the staff was very helpful. the rooms were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

We picked the Gayatri for its location, was suprised to find out it was vegan but the free breakfast choices for my husband and I was amazing. Price was good value and we choose a room with 2 double beds and balcony. So very happy with all the staff we meet, they have a tip jar that goes to everyone who works there :) Laundry service is cheap and fast. Close to shopping restraunts and spas +++
