Breakfast must be upgraded and more Moroccan cultural breakfast

Excellent location with easy access by car or taxi, short drive from the old city and from the creative designers' hub of Sidi Ghanem. The staff were so professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is traditional in style with beautiful decor. Excellent food is served on the rooftop, with lunch or dinner available there on request. The hotel is located in a quiet, residential neighbourhood.

Breakfast was spartan. Barely enough food to fill you up, and I'm a senior and eat very little. eating outside was nice but 90% of riads have this accomodation.

Everything could have been better. Location is in a residential area, so its a long walk to other food choices. The cost of food at the Riad is VERY expensive! (3x other places) The staff acted as if we were a nuisance for asking for a simple cup of coffee. They acted as if we were idiots for not being able to find the Riad, since we had to call and get specific instruction. The check in woman was in a BIG hurry to show us the riad.. Acted as if she couldn't wait to get away from us. It is NOT near the airport! Taxi to the airport is EXTREMELY HIGH. The riad is NOT anything exceptional, except the price. We stayed in lovely riads in Marrakesh for a 1/3 of the price. DO NOT STAY HERE. I feel like i was fleeced. Booking.com did not help at all either. Book thru some other venue for best customer service. The Riad l'escale is not worth your money. Look elsewhere!

The Riad is so beautiful with the authentic decoration : Terrace, room, reception, pool ... All the staff ara nice (Souad, Youcef, Rajaa ...) and friendly. They gave us so many advices and made our stay more confortable. I do definetly recommand it.

very poor breakfast - bathroom - no fridge - no TV There is no privacy for you in the room. You can't even laugh with your partner at night. They will ask you to shut up .

Cute little place to stay, very clean throughout our stay here. There is 24 hour concierge which was a bonus and made us both feel very safe. Breakfast was included - continental with spread of honey and variety of jams. friendly staff. Given it is a small Riad it felt very safe and protected. Concierge were happy to help with suggestions of activities and best way to book. It is a little far out from the Souks/Medinah - looking at 45 min walk or 15 in taxi ride however, we did enjoy the walk which felt safe when we chose to walk.

When booking a place to stay, we both knew we need a pool given lack of nearby beach. In the UK my daily exercise is a morning run and I like to replace this with a swim when on holiday. Advertisement suggested a warm pool and hot tub - neither were available. The pool was filled with water however on our initial tour we were told this was not usable as "always very cold". We did try to ask for it to be heated for just one day as we planned to stay in the hotel but this was not a request that could be completed. If you enjoy a swim on holiday - this Riad is not for you. Had the pool not been an issue, we would have rated this Riad much higher.

The pool was indoor but cold in Jan. Literally that's it! Nothing to cry about and wouldn't stop me going back there in a jiffy

Little bit far from city center. That is not a problem if you have a car. But that makes good value for money balance.

Nice and friendly staff. Guesthouse vibe- feels like you are staying in someone’s house, warm and welcoming.

Location is far from centre and no amenities in the room like kettle or iron.
