Arriving at The View, you understand why it's called "The View" -just stunning! A perfect place to relax, located away from the busy streets but close enough to walk when you want to get a piece of the action in Taormina. And then there was Roberto -our fantastic host who took care of everything we needed; recommending and booking the best restaurants, arranging transports, general hints of what to see, etc. Always available and always providing good solutions!

The name says it all, the view! The rooms are so nice, clean, very comfortable bed, lots of coffee nespresso, best bathrobes in Sicily, everything was great from first arriving and checking in to check out! !Thank you Roberto, you are a true gentleman and all your advice & recommendations were spot on. Everything about The View was amazing. Our apartment was really well designed and the view is honestly amazing-- I highly recommend waking up early to see the sunrise over the ocean. We had a room with a private jacuzzi, which was perfect in the evening. Roberto was super helpful and relaxed, which was perfect for our Taormina stay. They really offer an incredible value for the price and I couldn't recommend The View enough.

Figuring out the walk down to the main town square was a bit difficult at night so I would just recommend doing that earlier in the day so that it's not confusing. Once you figure out which staircases to take, it's very easy and efficient.

I really had the pleasure of staying at at the hotel, and it was an amazing experience. Before our stay, the host contacted us through WhatsApp to confirm our arrival time and ensure that we could check in smoothly. The host was also very helpful in booking a taxi to pick us up from the train station, which was much appreciated, as it was Christmas Eve and we don't speak Italian. The view from the Airbnb was exceptional - you could see the sea and the Italian peninsula from your bed. In addition, the Airbnb was only a 5-minute walk from a perfect sunrise gazing point next to the Chiesa Madonna della Rocca. The heater in the bedroom worked really well and was able to warm up the entire room within 30 minutes, which was much appreciated on cold winter nights. Both my friend and I agreed that the Airbnb was on par with a 5-star hotel. It was very spacious and had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, a large bathroom with liquid soap, tissue, and body lotion, and a fully-equipped kitchen (although we didn't use much). Overall, we had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

In addition to the comfortable bedroom and spectacular view, there were a few minor issues we encountered during our stay at the Airbnb. The heater in the bathroom seemed not to work (although the host checked once), which was a bit inconvenient on cold winter mornings. Additionally, because the Airbnb was located up on a mountain, it was a bit isolated and not as convenient to reach as other hotels in the area. However, the long flight of stairs leading down to the town center offered some beautiful views during the day and at night, and the 20-minute trip down the stairs was definitely worth it for the stunning views. Unfortunately, both the Isola Bella island and the castle were closed when we visited during Christmas. Overall, while the Airbnb was a bit isolated and had some minor issues, the stunning views and comfortable accommodation more than made up for it. If you don't mind a bit of a hike and are looking for a unique and memorable stay, this Airbnb is definitely worth a try. Just be prepared for sore legs in the following days!

Beautiful and very clean apartments with lovely host who was very helpful. Chiara gave us loads of great reviews and always responded quickly. Lovely views and great location. Taormina is an amazing place.

I loved the location but I didn’t realise it was going to be such an intense uphill climb back from town. You definitely need to be fit or splash out on taxis. Be careful on the corner steps in the dark as they are hard to see. Fell down them the first night.

Roberto who was responsible for our check in care a lot about everything, we recomending this place. is lovely. a bit far from center but there are few ways to go to it. we prefare the " sport one" and were trekking everyday !great for our health. Apartmant was clean with amazing view, all was great. really we would like to come back !

Everything: The view, the pool, the comfort of the room (bed), very clean, free water in the room which I consider it a big plus due to the fact the location is on a upper hill/ mountain and there are no supermarkets close. Also there are very close 2 restaurants recommended by the host which are very good and the views to the sunset are amazing. And in the morning you can have a wonderful view of the sunrise from the pool. The host allowed us also an early check in due to the fact that we had previously another accommodation with early check out. We received also a bottle of wine to enjoy our stay. The room was very clean, everything new and the air was fresh and clean.

Apartment only. Great views over Etna and the sea. Situated next to Villa Ducale (great restaurant) and not far from IL Saraceno. Nice apartment with a small kitchen. Bus stops to Castelmola just outside.

Internet a bit hit and miss. Apartment is about 150 yards away down hill from the pool which is in another complex.

The apartments were beautifully presented and maintained. The pool area was a great place to relax during the hot August days. We had a brilliant time staying there. Roberto was excellent - he made sure we were comfortable and happy and answered our many questions that we had about Taormina. He was a superb host.

The location is great to be away from the busy main street but be prepared to walk up and down many steps to get to the centre ... That or take a bus which I would definitely do!

The apartments have amazing views and very modern and stylish. The kitchen was perfect for making snacks and breakfast. Air con etc.Very nice bathrooms and great pool .

The location is 15mins out of the town and when its 35 degrees hot and steps are steep not the best if you run out of wine. You can get a cab but driving is pretty impossible as roads very narrow when you get there park up and only use car for going out .Just bare in mind if you are going with older people.

The room was excellent, the host was exceptional. The best accomodation I have ever stayed out end of story, Roberto provided me with the most elite customer service I have ever received. The layout of the apartment, pool and view was unparalleled. Roberto went out of his way on many occasions to make sure I enjoyed myself. Gave restaurant recommendations, a lift down to town on the bike, hunted down a paper clip for me so I could switch SIM card on phone and was always very responsive especially on the morning of my flight.

Nothing. It's located up many stairs to the hotel but everywhere is in this area and the view comes with this very small price. The manager will tell you a shortcut too which is possible. Taxis and buses are available for those who struggle to walk.

The View hasn't stolen its name : an unbelievable view from the pool, the master bedroom and terrace. WYSIWYG : the photos on the website are a perfect representation of what you get !! Our host was always reachable and responded immediately to all questions. We loved staying at The View !

The room was clean, modern (clearly recently furnished) and had a spacious terrace. The infinity pool area view is lovely.

- Location is far up on the hill, so without a car it’s difficult to get there (this should be mentioned somewhere beforehand). - During our stay, there was a lot of dirty ash debris on the terrace and furniture. Roberto promised someone would come clean it off…never happened. The terrace just kept getting dirtier each day. - Price/performance ratio is way off. This is NOT for customers looking for luxury. It‘s a neat place to stay, but nowhere near luxury and shouldn’t be advertised (or priced) as such.

Everything was brandnew and super beautiful. The view was absolutely amazing and bed very comfortable. We could check in immediately when we arrived around two o clock. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

We couldn’t use the pool since it was very cold and in the morning when we wanted a refreshment there was no water in the pool since it was being refilled.
