The location was excellent and the small boutique hotel was full of character , small and inviting . (We don’t like large commercial hotels with large lobbies and heaps of people ) so it was perfect
We thought it strange the reception had no local recommendations and redirected us to the local tourist office . It just wasted our time finding the office and we are older and have walking issues , much easier to be recommended local places to go on arrival . I had to ask for a map one wasn’t automatically given to us
However the staff were very helpful in all other ways .
We asked for extra pillows which were no problem . How ever we hated the old lumpy doona / duvet / quilt which although was clean was obviously washed many times . At this price it wasn’t a good impression. However we got a brand new bouncy one when it was changed . It was just a shame not to have had the new one in the beginning.

Ideal location, exceptionally helpful and caring staff, efficient valet parking, bathroom zone very cleverly divided into a toilet and a shower parts - a true home in the heart of charming, unforgettable Salamanca!

Chef Óscar provided very tasty and quality food selections. The facilities were visibly clean.
I did not like that I could not stay at that hotel longer. I had to return to the capital.

Lage, Design
The suites do not have a view - you can’t look out the windows since they are located right under the ceiling high above. Although the suites are on the highest floor, you feel like living in the basement.

The hotel's central location made walking around the city a pleasure. The staff were all very attentive and the room was both comfortable and beautifully appointed.

This property was elegant, quiet, remarkably decorated, exceptionally clean, perfect location and the service was quite extraordinary. We have stayed in some very fine hotels, including Ritz, Four Seasons and Peninsula hotels. These hotels should each send their staff to study what exceptional service is by sending them all to learn from the staff at the Grand Hotel Don Gregorio. The attention to detail at every level, from the decor, to cleanliness, to room turn down service to overall service is really the best we have experienced anywhere else we have traveled in the world.

Basically everything. The hotel is nearly flawless in every aspect, from the reception to the water pressure in the shower to the amazing a la Caeté breakfast.

We enjoyed the small private spa and excellent room amenities.
The location is also very good, being far enough from the centre to be quiet, and still within easy reach of everything.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food in the restaurant and cafeteria was very different. It was tasty and well presented, but it always seemed to take too long. We would have preferred faster service.

It was a lovely and charming hotel. The service and staff were impeccable. We greatly regretted that we could only stay one night. Definitely plan on returning.

The hotel was a real surprise . The hotel itself was small and quaint with character which is why we selected it. The surprises kept coming. The spa was great and the the pinnacle was the restaurant. Ment it’s a must.

Location couldn’t be beat! And the room and bathroom were spacious and luxurious! The breakfast was also fantastic. I’d love to come back and stay again!
