Stunning views over the church and hills behind. Quaint pub which was busy and friendly, dogs welcome too. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Quite a climb to the room if you had mobility problems. Low ceiling in the room if you were tall. Luckily enough we are short and fairly fit

Very friendly welcome, good choice for dinner and excellent breakfast. Clean, comfortable room.

Breakfast was super. Bed was comfortable.

As you entered through courtyard there was an awful lot of recycling from the pub. This smelt and followed you up the stairs. Quite unpleasant and spoilt the stay. We felt this could and should be easily rectified.

Very friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, nice view of the church with minimal road noise. Able to park on street outside. Fantastic breakfast, well worth the price. We did not have our evening meal there but wished we had. Nice village, worth a walk around.

Very minor points - could do with a new pull cord on the bathroom light/fan and a new toilet seat.

The only downside was the rooms were at the top of the building & we didn’t check that so for one of us the stairs were a problem but we managed.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. Everyone was so friendly and we will be staying at the Red Lion again. The location was ideal as we visited the Donkey Sanctuary.

Beautiful village . Nice pub

Me and my partner wanted to stay near the sea but the occupation was full those days. We didn't know this village but we ended up loving Sidbury. The village is cute and the Red Lion Inn seemed to be the heart of it. We had amazing views to the church from our room. The room was big size, the bathroom was new, the bed was confortable. The breakfast they offer is AMAZING. One of the best breakfast I've ever had, and the portions are huge. The stuff was really nice. We also had a beer in the garden and it was lovely. We only stayed for one night but I would have loved to try the meals menu.

As it is an old house and it was the last floor the ceiling was low, but nothing you can do. The building is carefully maintained. No WiFi

A little B & B gem in the village. Bibs & Richard wonderful hosts. Comfy bed. Large room with view of church. Lovely meals. Friendly locals. Would confidently recommend

Best pub/curry restaurant food ever, we eat a lot of curries but this was one of the best ever, host’s were excellent, shall definitely be returning, thank you for a lovely stay feel so bad we forgot to fill in the guest book.

We stayed in the courtyard room which was light and airy and spacious. All the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Good location. Easy to find. Everyone was friendly even the local people said hello in the street.
