Tolles Personal, tolle Organisation.

Incredible facilities--pool, restaurants, bars, etc. Staff all amazing and super friendly. Great to have segregated adult and child areas.
Need to have better cooling in guest rooms. Staff should not be allowed to adjust thermostat during room cleaning. Thermostat should have capability to be set at guest preference (no restrictions).

rapporto qualità prezzo imbarazzante. servizio al cliente bocciato su tutta la linea.

Nice location, comfortable rooms, good breakfast in a nice setting. We had dinner at La Calce and lunch at Cala Masciola and they were both pleasant.
The dinner at Due Camini was deplorable and spoiled our stay at Borgo Egnazia. They managed to fail all courses, from amuse bouche to desert. It was a painful experience and I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

The property is fantastic and huge. The design, the architecture, views, pools, spa etc were all just amazing. A one of a kind hotel. Loved the beach club as well!

Fabulous all around- from the restaurants, beach, pool, spa
We almost missed a fish dinner down at the beachfront- if we hadn’t been at the beach the previous day we would’ve missed it-
Lack of communication on what’s happening in all the different areas/ restaurants

Breakfast was tasty, lots of local food and of good quality, with healthy options. Skip the croissant at breakfast and opt for the local Pasticciotto, Italian cream filled pastry - it was the best we tried in the region. Padel court was good despite the equipment. Spa was large and had very nice 90C sauna with windows. Bed was comfortable. Gym is big and fully equipped - very cool.
The entire hotel ambiance was not as cozy as we expected. Walking outside was like walking in empty town. The dinner was not impressive at the taverna which supposed to serve the local food. Moreover, it was so slow, we had to wait too long for food that was so simple - it was not a relaxing evening. Hotel is definitely very overpriced: there are better 5-star options in Puglia. Tennis equipment was terrible for such a hotel, it was outdated with loose strings and it wasn't fun to play. The tennis court surface was weird, not hard and not clay, some kind of carpet filled with sand, also very bad and poorly maintained. The center square, where we wanted to have dinner, was booked for private event, and we were not notified in advance - it was a real pity. There was a reason we booked one night to discover the hotel and we were correct - not worth staying longer there.

The hotel and aesthetic were gorgeous. It was beautifully curated in terms of decor and design, and the rooms were quite spacious. The staff were also lovely and always willing to help.
For the prices charged and five star rating, we would expect the food to be better - was quite bland and down the line (perhaps to cater to a wider audience, of which there were quite a lot of Americans).

Everything. The property itself is very impressive with much larger facilities than you initially expect. The room is stunning with a great bed and complimentary mini bar. The attention to detail is incredible. The SPA is beautiful and the Michelin-star restaurant we went to in the evening (Due Camini) was sensational. We tried the Social table where we were eating with other guests and it was brilliant.

Fantastic service for breakfast. Everyday Monica treated us like princesses.
The service in the evening for the room. The first 2 nights are ok. Then thereafter
they don’t care anymore.
In the room , there are no facilities to make a coffee or tea.
And they put soo much useless stuff ( huge pillows, and a huge lamp made of waterbottles, in your room , you have hardly place for your suitcase of to put a sizeable handbag.
We had a room with a private garden which was gorgeous;however the chairs are very very uncomfortable

Beautiful location and wonderful beach club
It had been my dream for quite some time to stay at the Borgo Egnazia, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. During a 2 week trip to Italy, we stayed in 5 different hotels, and this one was by far the worst hotel of the trip. Starting from prior to arriving, my husband and I each wrote to the hotel to ask advice on restaurants, visits, etc. No one answered- except for when we asked to book a reservation at the 2 restaurants in the hotel. Upon arrival, our room wasn't ready, and they had us check-in in the middle hallway- a very odd welcoming without even so much as a refreshment offered. We then went to the beach club restaurant for lunch and waited over an hour for the server to take our order and for the food to arrive. The meal was by far the worst meal we had which is a shame- no one should have a bad meal in Italy. For the rest of our stay, the service at the pool and beach club was virtually non-existent. My husband asked for the wine menu at the pool and he waited so long for someone to take his order that he ended up falling asleep. We felt like the hotel was very understaffed and did not train their teams very well (some of the waiters didn't speak a word of English). Although the hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful, the service we received did not align with the price of the hotel. Overall, this felt like a very impersonal factory that was made for Instagram photos...basically, all style and no substance.
