Lack of Room and Holiday Inn facilities. One room had no sink.

Clean and comfortable beds.Although on the highway was very quiet

bbq's didn't work,was looking forward to cooking our catch.Otherwise the place was awesome

Fresh towels and sheets. Staff lovely.

It was basic, the chain locks were removed from front and back doors, the screen on the back window looked like it had been broken into. Tiles on floor leading into back door broken, tile missing in shower. Dead cockroach on floor, carpet could have been better vacuumed. Old and dated decor. Sheets felt brand new if they were they hadn’t been washed out of packet, was very itchy. Mirror behind double bed had a lot hand marks on it, not cleaned. Vertical blinds were broken, could not have privacy at the back window.

View was ok. Bedding was clean.

It was windy & there was a draft from the back door & windows. Wind whistled all night. Heater didn’t work. There was no milk so could only have black coffee/tea. Mattress was hard. Overall would not recommend this place to anyone.

I wasn’t able to check in. When booking my accommodation I asked if late check in was available and the response was yes; however, on arrival there was no one on site (expected as it was after hours), no after hours contact details displayed, no lockbox to hold a room key, no answer from the only phone number I could find (phone was ringing inside reception) and no correspondence through either Booking.com, email or attempt phone call to provide instructions on how to check in late. It was nearly 11pm when we gave up trying to get hold of someone and then we struggled to find accommodation in the area at that time of night.

My wife and I needed a place to stay overnight on the Sapphire Coast at short notice. The Bayview Motor Inn was the only accommodation within a 100km radius that had availability. After staying there, it's easy to see why. Avoid this place like the plague.

One expects a certain level of price hiking during peak season and to help recover post COVID lockdowns. But if the owners of a motor inn are going to charge a non-refundable advance payment of $200 per night for a small room, they should at least have fixed the broken light fittings, the jammed window latch, the loose wires, the running toilet and deodorised the stale cigarette smoke smell.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The view was amazing from my room. I had two windows, a very large room and king sized bed.

Location and view from the room were great. Bedding were clean.

There was no hairdryer, kettle were faulty, no remote for the TV. Staff said customers steal them etc. Others left things in the fridge and cleaners didn't cleared before us. Balcony door was jammed, hard to open.

Good value pit stop out of the rain for the nite

The owner was really pleasant. The location is close to the town (about 2 minutes drive), and the view is excellent.

The decor is tired and dated (panelling, painted apricot), but that didn't affect the comfort, and with basic redecorating it could be excellent. The winter weather when we visited was "bracing" ;-)

Economy, location

Doesnt look cared for, water on floor in bathroom, handles off cupboards. Just the little things.
