The location was too far out of town approx 3 km away and these were also the closest shops and restaurants.

We had a room next to a kitchen and sitting room so it was good to have that space for self catering. There are picnic style tables outside the rooms. The lodge is in a quiet setting. Whitianga itself is a great spot to explore the region. We enjoyed a boat trip to Cathedral Cove - highly recommend.

Further from town than I expected. Definitely need a car. Room was a little tired.

Bit misleading stating it was a 2 bedroom apartment.When it was actually I double bedroom,and a double and single bed behind a partition from the living area.

Peaceful location, 5 minute drive from Town centre.

Single bed was too narrow and slightly too small for an average size person.

Beautiful quiet location. Lovely hosts. Comfy bed. We arrived late and the host was outside showing us where to park which we appreciated .

Parking is a bit awkward, having to reverse out of the park was not ideal.

Beds very comfortable and unit very clean.

Great to have a clean room and warm welcome. Enjoyed having a view over some greenery.

Was not in the centre of town so needed a car to travel into town for restaurants etc but it wasn't a huge distance and it was more than compensated by having a view over the garden.

The staff were polite and gave us guidance on recommended places when we asked. The place was quiet and had a heat pump (very warm). Free parking & wifi.

The bed was super comfy, bedding soft. Heating was great. Manager was lovely. Room was big enough. Quiet spot just out of town. Great price

Shower pressure was low, shared kitchen for the rooms. Tv only had a few channels (not a massive deal!)
