Excellent location, quiet but an easy walk to the centre of this very popular tourist attraction. Good communal outdoor seating. Although not mentioned on booking site a basic continental breakfast is included in the room rate Very secure on site parking

Everything. Exceptional . More then I was expected. I would recommend to anyone who would like to relax and enjoy freedom.

The places to visit were beautiful, the pension offered free parking and the rooms were clean. ---------------- Adding the text from what I did not like here too, because the reviews are displaying the positive side unless you press on the option to see all the reviews: The host is not so friendly with foreigners. He did not even look in my eyes when I said 'Good day' or 'Thank you' in Hungarian language. He is supposed to know a bit of basic English atleast, because that place is a a Pension afterall, but the guy didn't speak to me at all. Luckily my partner is from Hungary and with her help we managed to communicate. At the end we had to pay some extra tourist tax. The host refused to let us pay with card, even if that option was available. We did not have the amount he asked in cash, and after that, he took the POS out from his desk, asking us to pay with the card. That really felt insulting. Even if the place was good and clean, sometimes the people in it can make it the worst. Definitely not a welcoming person. Would come again only for the beautiful Tihany town, but not at the same pension.
