The location was nice and the Resort was very well maintained - very refreshing and a smiling warm staff. The food is ok, not very great.

The sea at the beach is cold as it's where the river with the snow water meets the sea, so not very warm water temperature. We had booked a Bungalow, but they gave us a normal room, so that was a bit disappointing.

Animation program is weak, swimming pools are closed from 17:50, toboggans are open only after 14:30(15:00), the neighboring hotel has very loud animation programs both during the day and in the evening, mosquitoes in the room

Careful with the free photoshoots! They trick you into doing a free photoshoot which they later charge you 9 EUR per picture or those expesive sets with albums for 480 EUR which is crazy. They didn't inform us about how expensive getting the pictures are and were mad when we didnt wanted to spent so much for mediocre photos when we have cameras on or phone which make even better pictures!

Hotel gives quite old look, may be little more cleanliness and renovation make it a perfect spot. Food variety is enormous but quality needs some improvement

Good breakfasts with lots of vegan options that were well labelled. The rooms were nice.

No restaurants nearby. Also getting access to the restaurants that are in the hotel require booking from a person who is rarely available to take your booking. Also the swimming pools were aggressively cold.

The all-inclusive breakfast buffet was fantastic.

Although promised ocean view, the room did not have an ocean view. We were told that it was ocean side & that qualified as ocean view room even though the room overlooked the gardens. see attached photo from balcony.

We had connected double bed rooms. Ideal for us with 3 kids below the age of 6.

it was their opening day, 1.4.2022. Pool was frozen cold, tradesmen everywhere , reduced buffet , annoying service at the restaurant but they did expect a final payment as if it wasn’t their opening day

We stayed for 10 days in the second part of August 2021. The price was great for the quality and service we've received. Food: We had all-inclusive and I was happy with that choice. All the food was tasty, of good quality and there was always quite big choice: few types of fish, meats, lots of sides and dessert. In between the breakfast, lunch and dinners the bars were offering snacks. There are also 3 other restaurants: Italian, Greek and Vegan. We've visited the Italian and the Greek ones but personally we didn't enjoy it, the food in the main restaurant was much better. Location and territory: Very close from Heraklion, 10 mins by taxi and 30 mins by bus (€1.5 one way if buying in the souvenir shop on the hotel territory, €2.5 if buying at the driver). The territory of the hotel is relatively big and full of vegetation. It is lovely to have an evening stroll there after dinner. Beach and sea: The beach is big and clean. It is mostly sandy with small stones at the water edge. No sharp descent in the water, very gradual. 6 out of 10 days there were big waves and yellow flag, one day even red. It was fun. The water was very warm. However, half way through the stay there seemed to come cold underwater streams which made it nearly impossible to swim during 3-4 days. Then they were gone. At the time of our stay it was very windy so starting around 11pm so we were getting cold and could take sunbathes for the whole day at the beach. I believe I have read it is due to the season and isn't always like that. Pool: It is quite big and mostly deep (2-3 meters). There is a separate pool for kids. Very few sunbeds. In order to get us oes I got up at 7am, otherwise, they were taken. Despite the hotel sign asking people not to "book the sunbeds with the towels" literally everybody did it. Personnel: Friendly, had no issues. On the day of check-out we were allowed to stay longer in the room as we had a late transfer. It was very pleasant.

Beach: There are a lot of big and quite sharp stones on the way when getting into the water. It didn't present any problem for me but for people with kids or elderly this might be an issue. Maybe the hotel might take into into consideration and improve the entrance to the sea.

Great pools and beach. Nice entertainment for kids in the evenings. Felt like I could let my kids wander and they would be safe and have fun.

Main buffet had an amazing amount of options but like in all buffets, quality suffers when cooking for a large amount of people.

Lift sometimes doesn’t work.And I recommend remove all gray towels. Also recommend add more fruit to breakfast

Very tasty food with various of choices for everyone ( vegan, vegetarian etc). Reception always keen to help. Very clean rooms and the good access to the beach. Lovely exotic and well maintained garden.

Huge problem with mosquitos around the property (quite obvious as property located within the garden). Some staff at the bar was quite impolite if tips not provided. Some facilities not available due COVID ( like welcome wine to the room, indoor and heated swimming pool), however no information provided before booking regarding this so in general would asses as 4 stars not 5 stars hotel.

The breakfast was terrible. No fish. Horrible packet coffee. Old out dated furniture. Tiny elevators. Suite was rally not worth it. No porter service. Unnecessarily filling forms. Radisson Blu Milatos is much better.
