Great Place to stay in Poprad and very near to everywhere to centre and to train.

I put in my booking that I would arrive at 1am. The hotel advertises 24hr reception. When I arrived the hotel was in darkness, no answer on the bell or knocking on the Windows. We were left stranded in the middle of the night in Poprad in the middle of winter. It took 2 hours of walking around the town to find a new hotel.

The receptionist was a nice and friendly person,very helpful.

Good location, near to the city center, free parking placr, comfortable bed, huge rooms.

Staff was very friendly. The room felt cozy and was very clean, there was a refrigerator and coffee/tea, sugar. A very welcoming atmosphere. Wifi worked well. Very convenient for travellers as it is very close to the train station.

There was only one small towel. I asked for another one for the shower and although they tried to find one, the were no big towels available. The owner/recepcionist was really eager to communicate but it was quite hard as he barely spoke English. Breakfast started at 10.00, could not try it in the end as the first morning I wanted to go hiking and the second I had to leave the room by 10.00. In the description of booking.com, it was stated there was a breakfast buffet, the owner told me there was not.

Overall quality of the room (cleanliness, bathroom, etc.). Good breakfast with friendly staff. Central location of the hotel.

Amazing location right next to bus and train stations, so transport is very easy around national parks (since I do not have a car). Lovely restaurant connected to hotel selling cheap home-cooked traditional lunches. Very helpful manager woke up at 3am to open my door when I caught the late train.

I was happy with everything, really. I had to eat dinners outside, as I was not organised enough to book in advance. But that was fine.

Very convenient for station and bus. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Good value.

Rooms were smoke-free but the hallway wasn't. Hot dogs for breakfast.

a bit old bed, too much heating, curtains too transparent to keep the room dark in the morning

The location was perfect. We were by car, there was a parking lot, and the High Tatras was about 15-20 minutes drive away. The view was beautiful when we woke up, we saw immediately the mountains. It was good that there was a table, chairs and a fridge in the bedroom.

Unfortunately, the negatives were more than the positives. Even though the man was super kind at the receptionist, he did not speak English at all which made it harder to communicate. We were told we cannot pay by card anymore (even though that's advertised on Booking), luckily my brother had cash with him. However, we did not receive any confirmation, or receipt that we had paid for the room. We were on the third floor (I think), and the wifi did not work there at all, when checking at the reception, it still did not connect either to my brother's or my phone. There were no free toiletries as advertised, the towels were super small. Prepare with earplugs, as the neighbors were loud, moreover, the beds were very uncomfortable. If you are not planning to spend a lot of time at the place, need a close place to stay near the mountains, then it's okay, however, if you want comfort, then it's best to go to another place.

Not luxurious but well equipped. The staff is friendly, the train station is very close. I found it perfect before and after my hikes.

There's a pub next to the building so it can be noisy with the windows opened.

Had a kettle and coffee in the room which was amazing. Amazing location, very close to centre with free parking.

Bathroom was very low standard even for the price. Extremely loud- got woken up at 5 am by a number of loud guests outside the room.
