Mademoiselle, was incredibly warm genuine and welcoming. We arrived to early (accidentally) she was surprised but still immediately friendly / helpful / welcoming The entire property was extremely clean Beds were very comfortable, cosy and the room was warm The location is in a small village and very quiet. Mademoiselle helped advise good restaurants and walks in the area Cant recommend this place enough

Absolutely nothing

We were warmly welcome by the host and had a nice one-night-stay at this beautiful place. The breakfast was big and various. Certainly we will book again if we come across.

All was perfect.

Breakfast was excellent, homemade with local produce : ham, cheese, butter, fresh bread, jam, honey, kuglof...everything was fresh and tasty. The host were more than welcoming. There's a dog on the property, Nutella, who is absolutely lovely.

The door handles were hard to use

Pretty village location and really attractive old house. Friendly hosts.

The unfinished staircases which will eventually be beautiful.

The property was built in 1754, and is a beautiful beamed house of great character and interest. All the similarly old houses in Weyersheim are under a preservation order. The garden is massive and there is secure parking within the fenced courtyard. The owners are charming and speak very good English.

The main staircase is under renovation and being arthritic, I would have liked a handrail, but I guess this is a work in progress.

The room was clean and we slept alright.

We arrived at 8.30 pm, which was too late occurring the host. We didn't know there was a limit on the arriving time. Apart from that, she talked in French and very quickly. It was kind of hard to follow. Same thing in the morning. We had to sit on the same table as another couple, which we wouldn't mind in normal times but in covid times this didn't feel safe at all. The other host, I think her husband, kept talking French as well and when we said we didn't quite understand he laughed at us and asked if we didn't go to school since we're from Belgium. Kind of rude if you ask me. Like Belgians would keep talking Dutch when a French person comes along? When we wanted to check out we had to pay in cash and we got another joke about our masks. He asked if we were about to rob a bank.
