La situation, près de tout. Un très beau complexe avec stationnement privé. Vue imprenable au petit déjeuner. Notre hôte, Jim, toujours attentionné à notre confort.

Le petit déjeuner est très bien pour un court séjour mais il est un peu limité pour un plus long séjour.

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. The views were amazing. The breakfast was excellent, and I liked that we could eat outside on the deck. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I hesitate to say anything negative, since overall the place was so nice, but the bed was hard. I think all of the beds in the Azores were a bit firmer than I prefer, but this was harder than most. Just a one in thick foam pad would make it more comfortable.

Great location, gorgeous views, excellent breakfast selection. Spacious and well appointed rooms.

Lack of mosquito screens on doors and windows (we got eaten alive the first minute we opened the windows), the beds were too firm for some people, loud bathroom fans.

Really nice view. The room was spacious, with two balconies, a small kitchen and a big bathroom. AC was a big plus since it was very humid and wet. It was pretty clean. Not very noisy (except for the birds/chickens outside but nothing we can do about that).

Lack of blinds made me wake up early, since the sunrise was around 6am and there was no way of totally blocking the light.

The daily breakfast buffet was delicious. There wasn't a lot of visitors while we stayed, so a quiet breakfast was so nice. The location is perfect, walking distance to the ferry and to the main downtown. The property also has beautiful hydrangeas all over that happen to be blooming while we were there. Cristina was also very understanding while we stayed and allowed us to have a late check out due to my partner not feeling well. I would definitely stay again.

It would be nice to have a mini fridge in rooms.

Large rooms, quiet area a 15 min walk away from town centre. Clean, spacious building, outdoor terrace off the breakfast room and 2nd floor but no chairs available. Great view from 2nd floor and above. Breakfast was basic as others have mentioned. Note, there is no bar fridge in the room. Can boil water and make tea or coffee in the breakfast room 24/7.

Bed was hard- my perception. Subtracted a star because of difficulty communicating with someone upon arrival. As others mention, there is no one at reception. I had communicated arrival time via the booking app. A phone number is taped to door but, doesn't specify if one can use data (WhatsApp) to call. If you are a non EU person with only data, it's difficult to contact someone. One morning I heard loud knocking on the door and it was people trying to get someone's attention and apparently couldn't get in touch via cell. I stayed in another place with no one at reception but they were prompt at texting via WhatsApp and asking in advance for arrival and departure times so they could send someone over.
